That was Mai-tree, Karan's younger sister. She has time travel abilities too but the difference is she can ONLY pause time for 10 minutes maximum, without doing anything else. If you saw "Reverse 4 You", it's kinda like what Jattawa did when she made time stop to look around for P'Four. She didn't make the gun disappear, she made the time stop and took the gun out of his hands but that wasn't explained very well. How she knew Karan was in danger, we don't really know since that wasn't explained in the novel either, although Mai-tree did know Karan was seeing Khliao and thought she might be in danger. If you remember, she was really harsh with her before. She might have been following them around. They did a very bad job explaining how everything fit together in the series. Unless you have read the novel, you wouldn't understand some parts. The reason why she also has time traveling abilities is because she is the daughter of Jattawa and Four, from "Reverse 4 You". Jattawa had the same power and it was passed down to their daughters, although Karan is more powerful.

You should read the book because it's so good! If you want it, I can share it with you, just send me a message! I LOVED "Reverse 4 You" but when I read the book, I was appalled at how much they left out of the series. I think "Reverse with Me" is a lot like that, actually. I read this one before the series and I had a lot of expectations. I was very much disappointed. They didn't do a very good job with the story and their development as a couple. They also changed a lot of things and left out others. Zezeho wrote many books but the time traveling trilogy is one of her best, in my opinion. This trilogy has three books, "Reverse 4 You", "Reverse with Me" and "Stuck With Me". The last one is, like you said, about the story of Karan's younger sister, Mai-tree. You should read all of them and I'm pretty sure you will be surprised. It's no problem at all, I like talking about this! The universe of Thai dramas/stories is indeed very different from Japanese media so feel free to ask more questions if you need!

Of course! If you have any questions, I will try to answer the best I can! I agree they didn't do a very good job with the narrative and explaining it to the audience. They also changed a LOT from the story, especially in episode 7. Like you said, it makes sense the cost of Karan's powers is much steeper because she's rather powerful. I'd say Karan is very, very similar if not the same as Jattawa's father when it comes to her powers unlike her sister, who can only stop time for 10 minutes a day (which is another thing that wasn't properly explained in the series). Vivi is definitely not left out from the book, she is mentioned a lot of times actually! Not to mention the fact she's there with them on the final chapter. I don't think they did a very good job with their personalities also. In the book, they are still very similar and Jattawa is definitely still her playful self. I think this was another thing in which they failed and those happened a lot, unfortunately.
Overall I enjoyed it, but it was kind of lackluster at times. I don't know why they had to have the same flashbacks…
First, please take in mind they changed a LOT from the book. Karan is the eldest daughter of Jattawa and Four, yes. They are very close but by the time this story was developed, her mothers were actually staying overseas. They went there so they could get married since they couldn't do it in Thailand back then. In the book, the final chapter is very similar to the series but Jattawa's sister is also there with them. I guess they decided not to include her in the series. It is normal they look different when it comes to appearance since they couldn't use the same actresses (the studios are completely different) and some years have passed since then. Karan and Jattawa's powers are also VERY different. Karan is much more powerful. Karan can turn back time everytime she wants when Jattawa could only do it once a day and she had to do it before 10 minutes had passed. Karan loses 10 years only when she uses it to saves someone's life, not when she turns back time and there are no time limitations, she can turn back time to 20 years ago if she wants to. It is tied to what you do with it, yes. I think their powers and their story is better explained in the book, definitely. They didn't do a good job here and that left a lot of people confused.
I watched the trailer and honestly, it was disappointing. I thought we were going to see their cute moments but instead they're going to throw us more drama after what we went through in the first season and it looks like Karn is going to break up with Kris again because of her own selfish reasons. I don't know why they bothered to give us a new season if it's going to be like this. I'm not even excited for it anymore.
I'm sorry but I will never find it not weird they resemble each other's grandmothers. Shouldn't it be the other way around? It literally makes no sense.
I won't extend this much further because I've said all I think about this series in the previous comments so there's no need to repeat myself again. This series had an excellent first episode but the quality gradually went down. The effects are good and the production quality also seems good. The actresses are hard-working and they seem to have chemistry and potential, it simply wasn't explored much. What seems to be lacking the most is the writing. The director and the screenwriter just didn't know how to handle a story like this. The repetitive flashbacks, the lack of development between the main leads, the time wasted on futile things and the lack of information, all of those contributed to a poor reception and a poor result of a series that could have been phenomenal. It wasn't the series I hated the most, not even close. It wasn't the worst of all of them. It wasn't even bad. But I didn't find it good either. I will continue to support Natt and Pitcha and I hope they get a better series next time.
Are you confused? You can appreciate Natt and Pitcha's great acting and amazing chemistry while acknowledging…
You should do that! What's the problem if you actually liked the show and didn't find those issues everyone's talking about important? I think the point of TV shows, movies, etc, is to make us feel different things. I personally found the show underwhelming which pained me deeply because I was really looking forward to it but it doesn't mean I'm not glad to see some positivity around here. I understand OP's point of view but that was way too out of line. Not to mention the fact you didn't even imply what they said, just that you like to see more of the story. What's so bad about that?

I don't think you should have deleted your comment. You have the right to have your own opinion. There are some people here who say way more problematic things and they don't have the same energy for them. You didn't say anything bad at all, you just stated your personal preference. In fact, you are very correct about that.
gmmtv always tries to make bad guys into good guys in the end. they did the same with may's father too in Pluto..…
I know it is part of a larger problem, that's why I said I can see that redemption coming from miles away. In all the series we had until now, it doesn't matter how bad the parents behave, they always get their redemption. "Reverse With Me" and "Pluto" especially pissed me off.
100% agree. I pray for someone to just take up the mantle to stop redeeming sinister characters and give us something…
It really was such a good twist. When I was reading the book and I got to the part where her mother made her chose I just thought "oh, here we go again" but when I learned the truth I was amazed. I didn't like her redemption one bit though, she did way too many bad things to be redeemed in the end.

I think you're being unfair. I agree we should criticize something when we feel the need to and I do agree some people, a lot of people actually, dismiss the critiques and make it about us wanting to see more "sex scenes" when it's just us making valid criticisms but I don't think it's the case for this person. I like the actresses too but I still personally think this show is very underwhelming. I still, though, still respect other people's opinions. I think you should, too.
100% agree. I pray for someone to just take up the mantle to stop redeeming sinister characters and give us something…
I agree! I, myself, have been raised with an abusive family member and we still don't talk to this day because I decided to cut all contact. We should do what's best for ourselves to achieve peace of mind. Family is definitely not above everything else. There are some things we shouldn't forgive and that's it. Stay safe out there too!
100% agree. I pray for someone to just take up the mantle to stop redeeming sinister characters and give us something…
I loved when her mother made Rey choose between her and Print because she was sick and Rey made her believe she chose her when she actually chose Print and they were planning it all behind her back. Her mother was totally fooled! It was awesome!
