I never get tired of rewatching episode 7. The domestic vibes of the two are just on a different level. I love these two so, so much!

What? There is actual rape in this novel? I started reading it but I stopped after the first chapters because…
Yes, I can agree there are some things about "Blank" that can be criticized for sure, like everything else and I won't disregard that. I'm also glad there are other people who are angry at this because I really don't understand why you would want to see a story like this being portrayed on a screen unless you're okay with those things. People criticize GMMTV for always changing the stories of the books but I'll take a lightheaded story like "Us" anytime over... whatever this shit is.

I agree with you, this does seem like it was written by a man and we can't be sure it wasn't because aren't most of those writers anonymous? And, well, maybe you're not going to agree and that's fine but while I do think some things about "Blank" were questionable and we're allowed to criticize it, I think there's a difference. Although there was an age gap between them, they were both consenting adults. But this crosses the line, not only with stalking and sexual assault but actual rape. I think stories like "Call Me By No Name" definitely came around to make this seem acceptable. I started watching that series and had to stop when there was an attempted rape scene and still, lots of people are watching it and praising it but still shit on "Blank". I understand that not everybody has to like it but I thought actual rape and sexual assault was where we crossed the line? I guess not. This is making me worried because we're accepting things that should not be accepted. I don't see how they can make a good story out of this unless they change everything about it. It's not only a creepy reflection on the authors who have some kind of fetish about sexual assault but on the people who actually enjoy reading it and seeing it on the screen. I'm amazed no one's angered by this, actually.

I really didn't know that and I'm shocked. I was already shocked by the scene where Dr. Prem is drunk and gets into Pat's car by mistake. The way the story was written, it was like she was a hero for not raping her in that moment, even though she did kiss her without her consent. Besides, there's all the stalking and stuff. I didn't know it went as far as actual rape. I really thought Chao Planoy was the worst writer out there but I guess she has new competition. I agree with you, I like all the GL's that are coming out but buying the rights to a novel that's so disgusting and problematic has no excuse. There are a million of books out there waiting to get adapted. We don't need or want to see those disgusting stories being adapted on the screen.

What? There is actual rape in this novel? I started reading it but I stopped after the first chapters because I thought it was problematic and toxic. I didn't know it gets even worse. It does not even surprise me this book is written by the same author as "The Secret of Us", do you remember Lada in the drunk scene? In the novel, she's actually very physically aggressive with Earn, Earn even gets scared of her everytime she drinks.

It really is sad to say that because it only had 8 episodes to work with, it will never live up to the masterpiece…
So true! Zezeho's books are the best ones I've ever read, especially the time travel trilogy. It's sad how her stories never get fairly done.

I have no words left to describe this series because I've said everything in my previous comments. It's an amazing series and it's been perfect up until this point. I just hope it keeps going in this direction because if it does, I'm sure it will be considered one of the best, if not the best. My only wish: please don't make a redemption arc for Rak's father, we are so tired of seeing abusers get a magic redemption at the end of the series. I hope he pays for his crimes. Emi and Bonnie are amazing, I'm honestly in awe of their chemistry. Amazing, amazing, amazing. I don't know what else to say! Everything's been perfect.

i agree with this! i’m still enjoying the show (the actresses are great, the story is still interesting) but…
I agree with you! I don't know if you read the novel, probably not, but it's really good and the script is really not doing justice to the story at all. But like you said, we'll see how they handle the rest of it. There's still two important stories coming up and I'm curious how will they fit everything into 4 episodes.

Okay. I'm going to be very, very honest. This episode was not bad compared to episode 2 and 3, in fact, it was very good but I feel like people might not connect much to the main couple because there was a lack of a built-up and there's a lot of moments missing from the book. I read the book so I know their whole story but people who are watching the show and have no clue about the rest, might feel confused as to why they feel this way because they only had a couple of interactions. Also, they keep throwing that straight couple at us and I have no idea why because the truth is, nobody cares. I also noticed they didn't tell the viewer directly who Mai-tree was, I saw a lot of people who were confused as to how she knew about the whole time-reversing thing and I went back and realized they didn't say she was actually her sister. Honestly, I feel like the biggest flaw on this show is they don't make things clear for the viewer and it ends up being too confusing. There's a lack of development and explanation as to why things are the way they are, you can say. All I want is for this series to be a success but the person who is in charge of this script really doesn't know what he/she is doing. A story like this with a book this good has to automatically be a success, no excuses. Congratulations to the actresses Natt and Pitcha because they have been doing an amazing job and I'm always supporting them.

Can anybody spoil why the killer is after khalio?
The killer is after Khliao because he murdered someone and Khliao saw him at the crime scene (he's the same guy she sees at the elevator in episode 1). The guy he murdered is responsible from the death of his family and killed both his pregnant wife and daughter in an accident (you can actually see the news flashback in one of the episodes). I mean, this is according to the book, of course.

Whats the most toxic part????
Their relationship in the book is definitely not the same as in the series. I don't think they're close at all. Kawi is a complete psycho and he tries to r*pe Pam in the first chapter of the novel, Dokrak is the one who stops him and she's the one who tells her to break up with him.

That's disgusting. Isn't that the book where the girls get pregnant by the same guy? This girl should get therapy instead of writing more books.

Honestly, her series never flop because they change literally every aspect of it. I don't think it would have the same success if they stayed true the story, especially in the case of "Us". Who would want to see that? And MMDIY might be her best and most normal story yet, it just wasn't executed very well.

So it is only me that I can’t connect not even a little with this couple ? I don’t know . Something feels…
I think different people connect with couples in a different way. I might see something special in a couple and think they have amazing chemistry but you might not. It's really subjective, I think. Not everyone likes the same things and that's okay. Although, to be honest, I do understand the issues with "Affair". I really liked it but it came out as very misogynistic at times. I hated the fact the story had to validate the men's feelings that much. Definitely frustating but I think it was still good because their chemistry and their work/dedication saved the show. But I think it's normal if you don't like it, maybe it's just not your thing.

I'm reading the book and I'm almost finished. It is such a good book. In my honest opinion, I really don't think 8 episodes are going to be enough when the book has more than 500 pages and so many stories intertwined. So far, they're not doing justice to the story. They have 8 episodes and we're going to episode 4 and they're still not even addressing the main storyline. Karan barely has any screentime, either. I like the actresses and I'm always going to support this show, I know they've done a good job and have been doing their absolute best but I can't help but think the person in charge of the script doesn't know what he or she is doing.

Yes, every one of them is an animal and the amount of women who are sexually assaulted in her novels is a problem.

I don't think GMMTV is going to follow this path, it seems way too darker for them and they already changed a LOT of things. The book seems like a completely different story from the series and that's a good thing.
