Agree with you I wish they'd stop with LGBT rep. if it's like that, SK is just not there yet. But I do think Villain…
Netflix had nothing to do with the script, hiring, or direction of this show, they simply bought the rights to air the show on its platform, so you really can't blame them. Blame the screenwriters of these shows instead since they're the ones actually writing the scripts.

Title Sell Your Haunted House Spoiler
is there any horror elements cause the title has haunted in it? Are their ghosts or are there demons, scary demons…
Yes, there are ghosts in this show in every episode, but no demons (so far). I wouldn't call it a horror show, but it can get a bit suspenseful at times, and there are a few jump scares.

I hope Yu Yeon keeps her promise to not get involved with Soo Hyun if she gets re-hired. She should really focus on her job for her and her family's sake. I'm all for following your heart if you're attracted to someone, but there's just way too much drama in his family, and she seems like a nice person.

not liking the love angle of the maid and the chaebol grandson. come on. stop with this unrealistic plot.
Same, nothing good will come with her being involved with him. If the family finds out, she 100% will be fired, which doesn't sound great for her as she mentioned that there isn't enough space for her at home due to her siblings.
On So I Married the Anti-Fan May 7, 2021
This show is sooo cringey, right down to that cheesy "Pop Star" song, which sounds like an early 2000's boy band song. But it's extremely entertaining. Soo Young is pretty charming as her character, and the leads have chemistry so I'll continue...

I'm only on ep 2, so I'm a little behind, but I absolutely love Jang Nara's character in this drama. I've never seen her play such a serious, deadpan, and blunt character before and everything from her facial expressions down to her behavior is just spot on.

Ugh I love the subtle chemistry between Ha Ni and Yu Hyun! Episode 9 gave me all the feels, especially that bus scene. Their romance is such a nice slow burn.

Title L.U.C.A.: The Beginning Spoiler
I'm 30 min into episode 11 and I'm dropping this even though there's only 1 episode left, but I'm beyond over this drama. Read a spoiler for the ending and it was a complete joke. As soon as Geu Rim got pregnant, the drama went downhill fast and they completely ruined her character. Very sad as the acting was actually really good

Title Hello, Me! Spoiler
I feel like the story with Ha Ni and Ji Eun is a reverse "Another Oh Hae Young" because it's the 2nd FL who feels like she has been overshadowed by the FL her whole life instead of the other way around. Young Ha Ni was definitely a bit full of herself. She was pretty and popular and she knew it and soaked up that attention. I do feel bad for Ji Eun,, but now that she has everything she couldn't have when she was younger and more (loved by all her co-workers, wealth, beauty, a good job, a loving husband), it's crazy how she is still jealous of adult Ha Ni.

i dont know if it was just me (im black before I say this) but I was a bit uncomfortable seeing Young Bahn Hani…
I'm Black and did not feel offended by the face paint. For me, blackface is all about intent (I know that others don't have the same opinion and I want to respect that). If they had overlined her lips and put an afro on her, I would be extremely upset and boycott the show, but Ha Ni was playing as a kelp (which is so dark green it looks black when dried) and the writers needed a way to hide her identity from Anthony so they clearly just painted her face so that it matched her costume. There have been several cases of blackface and racism (ex: That one awful character in Backstage Rookie) in the past in Korean entertainment, but in this case, I don't think the intent was malicious.

I love this drama so far. It's funny, entertaining and has the right amount of feels. The first 2 episodes were a little messy, but everything is starting to come together in this week's episodes. I appreciate that Choi Kang Hee's character looks more like what you're average Korean woman in their late 30's-40's looks like.

Did anyone else think that the things Hye Ryung said about Shi Eun in episode 2 were kind of mean? "I'm still young which means I look good in anything, but she's 50. She's 50 and doesn't even wear makeup. No wonder her husband's fed up with her." Like this is such a mean statement to say about someone...

Just when I thought Hye Ryungs husband was going to end up being a likeable husband that wouldn't cheat. It seems…
Unfortunately, it seems like even Pi Young's husband is possibly cheating. He was speaking to someone on the phone and it seemed shady. Also, he was going to meet Pi Young at the house after grocery shopping, but then his friend's relative suddenly died and he has to go to a funeral? I'm not buying it.
On Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) Jan 21, 2021
This looks very interesting. I like multiple couple shows (like the I need romance series) and would much rather have that than a love triangle. And the fact that the couples are 30+ instead of teenagers or in college is a really nice change.

I want to show the stylist for this show my appreciation because the outfits are really on point! Love Young Hwa's casual comfy college boy look. Mi Joo looks adorable with her oversized overalls and long skirts. Seon Gyeom's outfits are always neat and clean, and I love Dan Ah wearing sneakers with her business clothes!

It does have 16 episodes though in Netflix. 16 episodes, 30 min each. Maybe it's different in other countries…
What I meant by "weird" is "unusual" because the episodes air on Tuesdays and Friday's which is very different compared to the typical day after eachother format.

TELL ME ABOUT IT, all the highly anticipated romance dramas I’ve watched in 2020 have been massive disappointments,…
I tried to watch Meow the Secret Boy, Fix You, Was It Love, Record of Youth, Dodosolsollalasol, Start Up and couldn't finish any of them! I agree, 2020 has been pretty weak for k-romance dramas. Though I do think that thriller, crime, and other non-romance dramas (Stranger, Nobody Knows, etc) really shined this year!
