Title True Beauty
wow... 9 THOUSAND watchers and it’s not even out yet.
Right? People are really anticipating this drama due to the popularity of the webtoon and the lead actors. I hope the comment section doesn't get toxic like Start Up and Itaewon Class did.

So many of the romance dramas in the last half of the year have not been extremely disappointing, so I really hope this one is good.

I think I'll have to drop this which is sad as I'm trying to watch more jdramas and I was a big fan of Matsui Airi when she was in Sakura Gakuen. Haruka's character is too cringy and immature for me and I just don't see how she's in love with Miura when she literally just met him a month ago (probably less than that tbh).

Everything happened way too quickly in episode 1. It's adapted from a shojo manga and there's only 7 episodes to work with so I guess I was expecting too much to begin with. I think I'll still continue to watch this just to see more of the husband's personality/see what he's hiding.

OCN dramas never disappoint, but I honestly wasn't expecting this drama to be this engaging and thrilling based off of the plot! Also very happy that it's 10 episodes as 16 would just stretch the plot out too much.

Only in a k-drama will you find a handsome man to pay your hospital bills and lend you all of the money you want lol but I guess I've seen more unrealistic things happen in other shows. The 2nd ML is a bit too clingy for my taste.

Although I'm usually not a fan of Netflix productions in the west, I love that Netflix for Korea means a way for…
That's exactly why Lee Kyoung Mi (The show's director) picked Netflix to work with. Netflix gives filmmakers more creative control over their projects and they don't have to comply to the restrictions that TV networks set.

I loved this show! It was strange, weird, and sometimes downright unsettling. There's still things I'm confused about, but I understand that with only 6 episodes to work with, understanding the bigger picture as opposed to the small details was more important. (This is random, but I love how the high school students look like actual normal looking high school students instead of models).

Woah so many negative comments. Why the score is so high then? Now i'm scared.
When super famous actors are involved, the ratings for dramas tend to be high because people are more generous with ratings when their favorites are involved. I have seen so many reviews saying they're only watching this because of BGP or they're only continuing because of PSD. It makes you wonder what the reception would be like if 2 less known actors were casted instead.

I agree. Bo Gum is very good looking, but he has a more feminine look to him and comes across as a bit too "pretty"…
I don't think that Jang Geun Suk is a good example of a "successful" pretty model because he's primarily an actor and a musician. I know he occasionally does modelling gigs, but he isn't a professional runway model like say Choi Sora is. Top Korean male models are more masculine-looking than actors are and have stronger defining features (source: my Korean friend). Regardless if Bo Gum looks like a convincing model or not, the drama is still enjoyable so that's all that really matters!

It got a lot better in ep 3, but it still feels like Jung Ha doesn't get as much screentime as Hye Joon. Her character still feels a bit underdeveloped as we still don't know why she has a passion for makeup/why she quit her office job, but hoping this improves in future episodes!

I love Bo Gum, I really do but it doesn't sell that he's a model- not in the height, not in the physique. Just…
I agree. Bo Gum is very good looking, but he has a more feminine look to him and comes across as a bit too "pretty" for a model (The pink-ish lipstick they put on him doesn't help either). In addition, his runway walk in ep 2 looks a bit awkward for someone who is supposed to have been in the industry for 7 years.

This is honestly one of the best drama's of 2020, which is impressive because it's almost the end of the year and so many dramas have already aired and completed. I look forward to every episode!!

Title Was It Love?
I've watched the first few episodes but I find them a bit boring, Does it get better?
I personally would not reccomend this drama at all. It starts out nice then quickly goes downhill. I would only watch this drama if you're into the 3 guys fighting over one girl trope and like drama and never ending misunderstandings

How is the romance?
Yeah the FL annoyed me too at times and she doesn't get better so it was better that you dropped it! Actually, most of the main characters are kind of unlikable at times, but you grow to like them. Despite that, it's still a 9.5/10 drama for me

How is the romance?
The romance is almost non-existent the first half of the drama but then starts to develop later on. I liked the FL with both the 1st and 2nd ML, which rarely happens, but there were times where I found both the FL and the ML annoying. Overall the romance was sweet and not too central to the plot as expected of a drama that doesn't have romance as its main genre.

Really disappointed that we never even got to see the filming of the movie. We were never shown AJ doing any work besides scouting actors and fixing the script. We're told over and over that AJ is this skilled and competent PD and that she loves films, but we were never shown that and that's the problem. The drama focused too much on the drama and backstories of the 4 Male leads that we weren't shown the important stuff. Would have been better if there were only 2 ML (Like I would cut both RJ and YW out and have KDP be the 2ML)

It's so sad to see the downhill of this drama. I remember when it was at an 8.7 rating and I was excited to watch it every week. Now I keep one hand on the remote in order to fast forward. The writer did not do this drama justice at all and I cry at what could have been an amazing plotline about the wonders of the film industry and a single mother re-realizing her old dreams. Only continuing because there's 3 episodes left and I need to know if AJ will ever come to her senses

I really reslly hope she doesnt end up with Dae Oh ..he's so annoying
Sorry but it's looking like she's either going to end up with Dae Oh or end up with no one because with only 3 episodes left, it's too late to develop a love story. Dae Oh was annoying in the beginning, but he has come a long long way. If anything, AJ is the most annoying one

Even though ep 12 was better than 11, this drama is still a complete mess. They tried to make AJ look all bad a** with her sunglasses and the hair flips in the scene where she confronts Jennifer, but to me she just looked silly. The only reason I'm continuing to watch this drama is for Ha Nee and Dong Chan.
