Just finished this drama. Not going to lie, the last 30 minutes of ep 16 I couldn't stop crying. To think I hesitated to even start this thinking that a police drama would be boring. Don't be like me and just watch it, this drama is a must watch!

I got really irritated when he answered his phone, when his daughter was calling. It was a video call and they…
Did you see the way he kept glancing around him before he answered the phone call? He was making sure he was behind a plain wall and that the window wasn't in the camera. And then he held the phone at a fixed angle so I'm pretty sure only his face was visible.

Like genuinely everything would be solved if they all just had a legit conversation where the female lead didn't…
Seriously! It's either "I'm leaving" and she runs off in a hurry, or her phone rings just before she's about to say something, or someone conveniently walks in interrupting the conversation. It's getting really annoying at this point

Kind of disappointed with the way this drama has been going lately. The drama was way more interesting before the men were in the picture, when it was focusing on showing the struggles of AJ being a single mother and trying to achieve her dreams of being a competent film producer. At this point, we're just watching 3 grown men (potentially 4) fighting over 1 woman in almost every scene and it's getting boring and repetitive.
Oh My Baby definitely did a way better job of the reverse harem trope.

I've noticed many people have started disliking YW, so I'm not alone. I can't stand him!!! He's so nosy and invasive.…
Yeah, I don't like how YW treats his mom. She just wants to know what's going on his life, yet he refuses to even talk to her for a minute. I admit, his mom is a bit nosy but what mom isn't? Hopefully there's some sort of backstory here. I agree, the mom seems nice and sweet now, but she may turn evil if she finds out Yeon Woo likes someone who is not from a rich family...

This drama is trying to fool us into thinking Ryu Jin is the father in ep 5 because of that scene where he wakes up naked and reads the note written from Ae Jung but I'm not buying it! The writers are trying too hard to make Ryu Jin a contender for being the father, so it most likely means he isn't.

Koo Ja Sung is really handsome, but Oh yeon woo is pissing me off. Its so obvious how she doesnt like him and…
I agree. Yeon Woo is perfectly nice and sweet, but for some reason, I don't like him that much. (No shade to the actor, he's doing great acting wise) I find him a bit boring. He doesn't have much personality or development outside of "being in love with Ae Jung." We never see his passion for being a coach or ever see him interacting with his students

I'm not sure what the writer's were thinking giving so much screentime to the 2nd ML and making the ML look creepy in the first 2 episodes. And the whole gay misunderstanding plotline was also cringey and unneeded. The reincarnation plotline is keeping me interested at this point

This drama wasn't financed by Netflix like Love Alarm was. Netflix just paid for the rights to play it on its platform. Therefore, they unfortuantely don't really have any say in the writing direction

Ever since the episode Hari and Yisang broke up temporarily, this drama has felt more like a melodrama than a romantic comedy. From the previews of ep 15, it doesn't seem like it's going to get any better either.

Same. I'm on episode 12 and I'm struggling to finish. I know it's a melodrama, but there's only 4 episodes remaining and I feel like nothing is happening. There's nothing but tragedy after tragedy. I'm hoping things pick up soon

I don't like Woo Won at all. He treats Ye Eun like a maid and constantly threatens to break the contract if Ye Eun doesn't do everything he says, even when most of those demands are not work related. She couldn't even properly take the day to mourn her husband on his death anniversary because she was forced to cook for Woo Won instead. Ye Eun already has a stressful life and doesn't need anyone adding more stress to it.

This show is one of the best shows of the year in my opinion, and that's an extremely high praise as there have been some amazing shows that have aired! I'm loving this trend of dramas touching upon important feminist/ women's' issues. I thought that this week's episodes about sexual harassment/abuse was extremely well done.

omg watching porn is an illness? Seriously? May be they mean watching illegally taken porn, i.e. taken without…
Please don't take this the wrong way, I promise this isn't me being rude, but I think you should read some feminist literature if you don't understand why viewing inappropriate photos of women that were secretly taken is wrong. It doesn't matter if it's not physical like rape. It doesn't matter if the person viewing the photos didn't take them themselves. Those women did not consent to getting their picture taken, therefore, it is sexual abuse!

The photos showed in the drama were extremely tame due to censoring laws. In real life, the photos taken of women can usually be much more graphic (pictures/ videos of women naked in bathrooms, dressing rooms, etc). No one is saying men can't admire women's bodies/be sexually attracted to them, but secretly taking pictures or videos of women without their consent is inappropriate, a crime, and an illness. If not treated, it can escalate into more serious crimes.

Maybe the comedy is good thing, but eventually they are undercover spies, their moves have a lot of flaws.
I definitely agree with you on that! But my point was that them messing up is intentional for comedic purposes. Besides, after watching this week's episode, I've noticed that despite them messing up all of the time, they still have always managed to complete their intended mission in the end

Why is the rating for this show so low? This show is clearly a comedy, and uses an over the top comedy style that's similar, but not as ridiculous, as Strong Woman Do Bong Soon's form of comedy.

That's why there are numerous scenes of the leads doing careless stuff that real NIS agents wouldn't such as: accidentally leaving important usb drives behind on the floor and dropping top secret ear pieces due to clumsyness. It's all for comedic purposes and not to be taken seriously!

Just watched the trailer and I couldn't even recognize Hwang Jung Eum! The long hair suits her and she seems somehow more mature.

I am a huge fan of the webcomic, but they really failed at making Arin look even remotely "plain" which is a tad bit disappointing. The webcomic did a much better job at making her look more normal compared to her friends, but the first ep was still really cute!

Title Meow, the Secret Boy Spoiler
I honestly don't know how I feel about this drama. It's keeping me engaged and I will certainly finish it, but…
I agree with everything you said! You nicely summarized everything that is going wrong with this drama. I feel like Sol Ah and Hong Jo don't really have that much chemistry. Hong Jo as a character is way underdeveloped compared to Jae Sun.

But then I don't really like Jae Sun either for all of the reasons you listed. I don't know how people are still rooting for them as a couple when he cut off all contact with her (for almost a year!!!) over a stupid misunderstanding, and then refused to outright reject her when she asked about his feelings when they were reunited.

And then like you said, the writers made Sol Ah's character really dumb for the sake of the plot. I still think this drama is cute and lighthearted, but I don't know If I can finish this.
