I watched LIS back when it was first aired and rewatched it already. Somehow I just can't think of YS and JJ and as modern versions of TTJ and LSS lol. They are different people for me.

Yeah I saw those two interviews before. One was a joint interview where both LYX and BL said they like BE and afterwards LYX said OE. The next one was where BL extensively talked about why the team thought kind of ending should be more fitting. The joint interview was first.
The one I am talking about was the scriptwriter explaining the ending and why they took this route for the drama followed by an interview of LYX where he explained TTJ's character.

There were some editing and filter issues in the original version. After the drama finished airing they re-edited some epis, changed the filter and in epi 40 they even added a new line that wasn't there before. I also think they added a new scene in epi 39 but I have to check again to be sure. As for the NF version, I haven't seen it yet but I think NF got it before the changes were made.

We always watch dramas together...have been watching kdramas together for years. But explaining this one was hard. My voice broke many times. This is why I said I struggled to hold back my tears. I didn't want to cry in front of everyone.

You can watch on viki, netflix as well. But you can only see the updated version on youku app I think. You can see some new updates on yt minus some of the bg. As for downloads I am not sure.

I finished my rewatch of TTEOTM yesterday. My family watched it with me this time and they absolutely loved it. I didn't think it was possible but during the rewatch I loved it even more...maybe because I was not in a rush to catch up and while explaining things to my fam who are totally new to xianxia, I discovered so many details which I hadn't noticed before. Usually when I would watch anything for the second time I won't feel the same level of anticipation or excitement for the finale as I did before, coz I already know what happens...but with TTEOTM I was still anxious before the last epi. I struggled to hold back my tears when TTJ said ' this life of mine is so hard...." My poor TTJ.

I feel so empty now. I don't know what to do. After my first watch, I knew I'd be rewatching right away so I didn't feel as empty as I am right now. It hurts even more this time.
