it's been raining cats and dogs where I live. raining for months, almost never-ending. The weather is so eerie and perfect to watch this stuff. This is pure bliss~~

I heard it's rumoured to get an airing date in september.....I hope its true!!!!!!!!

This was kinda guilty pleasure of a drama!! It did not give what it committed. I feel the only genuine thing about this drama was its fighting scenes which were 100/100 except that it did not did well in any of the category.
Plot, although individually interesting did not contributed well to the storyline. It felt like the first 16-17 eps was for nothing. bcuz they did not served the purpose for the eps. after 17th episode or so. It's like all those 17 episodes had only one purpose- to make the main leads meet each other and clear their misunderstanding but it didn't served the purpose for collection of evidence or revenge. If they knew they will found evidence outside yezhou then why stay in yezhou all this while.

Also, Whoever wrote the dialogues did a terrible job really.....no originality. except for the dialogues taken from the novel, all the other dialogues were rubbish. Recycling the same dialogue over and over again. Using the most basic af word. Such mediocre dialogues truly pissed me off.

The only thing that made it so interesting till the last was its fighting or sword scenes. Both the lead did well in comedic or fighting scenes, but I feel they lacked the right energy in romance or emotional scenes. They overdid a bit in romance or emotional scenes.
I guess emotional scenes were hard to act for all the actors in this drama. I didn't felt that yearning from it.
Anyways, it was a good pass-time drama. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't that GOOD as we expected it to be. Like it didn't stood up to our expectations and maybe that's why a lot of people are disappointed, including me since this was my most anticipated drama of the year.

Btw, FL did a really good job at portraying as a male. At times, it really felt like she was a man.

both the couples have limited screentime.....around 10-12 mins each episode. the main theme of the drama ain't romance unfortunately. Most of the events are about the mother-daughter relationship

all the good skilled people are not getting the vote!! I'm so frustrated. I feel bad and unfair for them when ik that 3 of the top 8 picks do not deserve it. When ik there are people who did better and worked harder than them to present a sincere stage for the fans.
They might be suppressing their feelings regarding the unfair voting too and i feel bad for that reason. how shallow of people to choose visuals over skills!!
talented people need more screen time on this show. it's crazy how yoonmin was not highlighted in the episodes until now when he presented an amazing audition stage and killed the rap part in recent mission

oh so he was the person who had contacts with giriboy!! now ik why he knows giriboy....since he himself is really good at rapping

ik about yechan since he's been one of my picks along with taejo (as they did well in rap on their audition stage). Thanks for suggesting nian boheng, he did good in last mission but i wish to test his skills more since his part was quite short.

Also, i found a rapping gem- YOONMIN
he's so natural at rap and his flow is good too. He was part of all star whiplash team. I can't believe I was sleeping on him. He might be the one to shock the world with his skills

I was just about to say that.....i like those survival shows better which is a mix of fan voting and judges' evaluation, like iland 1, peak time, etc, because those kind of voting format allows both the skills and star power to foster and result comes out to be much better when the final group forms instead of just fan voting.

Moreover, the reason why I'm disappointed is because almost all the top vocalist who could sing high notes while dancing fine were eliminated. idek atp who to even vote for. Will the final boy group really be even bearable in terms of vocals. Yes, leo is fine, but he hasn't really showed the main vocal material ability. I thought I would carefully select the vocalists once the voting reopens after seeing the last mission, but now they are all gone. Only one option truly remains.

There are plenty of dancers this time in BP2 and a lot of them are in all star category so I was hoping to vote for some vocalists too. But.....

I'm glad though I could find a buddy to rant about this. It's better to not have any fan voting than to have one like this.
Sorry to say, but I don't really see any reason for masato to be in top 8. For a second, I could let go of others, but he didn't really contributed much more than others to be in top8.

My worry also include finding a suitable rapper for the group cuz all of them are about the same level TT

true!! Today's ranking truly disappointed me....the people who are actually super good are ranked lower while those with average skills and sometimes even below average skills but good looks are ranked higher. It's so unfair! They might think that the fans/voters are so shallow and they are right on that.
This is the reason I had stopped watching survival shows! I'm watching this time only for Leo, since I've seen that dude producing some real good songs and I've loved his albums.
And I'm proud to say that he deserves my vote on the basis of skills he has shown, and I still think he can do much better. But I feel there are other contestants who are doing so much better and they deserve our vote too.

I hope no matter who people choose, they at least base their choices on talent over looks.

Don't know why people are not understanding that by choosing top 8 picks they are creating the future top boy group which will have so many resources to be successful and so fair voting is our responsibility. Imagine creating a super talented group that could pose a threat to the existing 5th gen idols on music charts.
I miss the time when people voted for wanna one members, they cared a little for looks- YES but they chose talented people who gave us so many amazing songs

its kinda the fling stage right now, and its enough to get you hooked and want more. i'm enjoying the romance part personally

This drama lived upto its popularity until now....
This is the first cross over drama I've seen where the FL doesn't merely feels like a love interest or a female. Here, despite knowing her real identity, I still see her more as a comrade of XJ rather than a female partner and that's what we want in a cross over drama honestly.

Second, they did her good in designing her fighting scenes cuz they are pure bliss. Her fighting scenes are even more interesting than the romantic scenes, which makes the whole drama fun. Not making it boring on any part

Ikr, my exact thoughts. That's the reason I gave it a break for a while now I'm thinking of restarting it buty only issue is with the romance plot of this. It's not too much and it's also not subtle. It's just all over the place which is ruining the main plot. Their indecisiveness is killing me
