sometimes when you face death you feel all those emotions on a really high level and if your parents aren't there for you for a while when you are dealing with it all, it becomes so hard to live a life and cherish the things your parents have done secretly or indirectly for you.
She has similarly suffered a lot throughout her childhood while having a single mom as her parent and then her career wasn't as per her demands but she had to continue to do it for her mom and her daily struggles, now she's facing life threatening illness, so her struggles and bottled up feelings are pouring out. Her mother has done a lot and suffered a lot. But how would they know how much each other suffered when they both having been taking on responsibilities for the sake of the other and going solo all this while.
Going to the rural-side will give them a chance to understand each other more and acknowledge each others' struggle. She will get better (in your language, less rude) once she finds hope in life again and heal a little.
It's easier to judge because situation varies on the basis of how you see it. She's not a bad child, she just feel overwhelmed and doesn't have enough knowledge about her mother's life

this year has definitely been a tsunami of this plot. The 'exes getting back together' aaahhhh plot. I wasn't expecting all my expected dramas to use the same plot and especially when i hate this ex plot thing the most. The reconciliation thing is too much toxic drama most of the times TT It doesn't have that freshness and innocence when two people meet for the first time and try to get to know each other
