Is the male lead of first frost the same sang yan as hidden love?? i never knew that....

no it's correct...i'm talking about the very same thing. the reason i wanted it to be that way so much was bcuz sang zhi realised that jiaxu likes her a lot and is not doing it on a whim through that scene. It was after hearing the story from Jiang Ying that she realised that jiaxu had never had a moment of happiness before and the things he's doing for her, to pursue her is like already the max. and that doing that for her is like the most sincere way for him to say that he likes her genuinely.
But the way the drama made them get into a relationship gives more of the vibe that sang zhi couldn't wait anymore and so she said 'yes' rather than her realising his genuine feelings.

my only regret is that they didn't followed the original story for her saying "yes" to him for being his girlfriend. tbh it would've been more meaningful that way and would've utilised that crazy girl Jiang Ying's character well

I love how they didn't showed any disputes among roommates over that boy who is pursuing sang zhi. The other girl didn't created any ruckus over it. and they all are so supportive. It's good to have plots like this rather than having them fight with each other over a boy.

how will I live for those 3 days when we won't get any episode TT

i have like most of the OSTs on my shower playlist. my mind is filled with them day and night. Mostly single episodes this week and then 3 days of gap until 17-18 ep....is making me crazy. how will i even live without them. I wish this could be longer like of 35 eps.

it actually made through the way into the drama. I heard a part of it "open your mouth" in one of the trailer. (i hope when the ep officially comes out, they don't change the translations into something else just like how they did with "male vinxen" in today's ep)

he's indeed doing really well....especially after seeing every new episode each day, i'm convinced that he has amazing acting skills. Today's episodes were all well presented by him.
The moment when he was almost teary in the car while zhi zhi was lying drunk. it showed how hurt he felt towards himself for not having someone who shows him so much love and care and also how concerned he was about her but also helpless at the same time.
Then, the way he kept calling sang yan "gege". i'm so satisfied that he did justice to that scene. It was amazingly portrayed. At that moment, i literally felt that the manhua came to life

that is literally my favourite scene....even a kissing scene might not be able to surpass that cool scene.

Me too....these type of mature older guy roles suit him better. Although i liked all his roles so far.

their official love journey will indeed start from 17-18 . As in the manhua as well, it happened around that time. Moreover, we only have 25 episodes in total so....its fair to have them start dating at 17-18

i should've known it!! Now ik why zheyuan is absent from the latest youth periplous episode. he might be invested in promotional activities . i was sad bcuz of it but after getting this news i'm so happy. either way, we're gonna see him a lot in the upcoming days.
