idk why people hated it but for me it was a really good experience. i didn't started out with much expectation and it was retro-styled which I usually don't prefer, however, i enjoyed it until the end. i liked how they ended it on a good note too. Mino was definitely not a clickbait, he proved his existence in the movie very well. I wish seongwu would've got more scenes to act or more character significance. his acting was good but his scenes were quite short. He mostly appeared with the whole group only. Anyway, the car/ driving scenes were just so pleasing to watch, the race at the beginning was also engaging and all of them coming together to execute their mission at last made me so excited. so basically i enjoyed the movie. It was sort of a new experience for me too. I would definitely recommend it to people.
I'm glad someone is thinking the same thing lol.....i found it damn illogical, so i started searching for a comment…
i feel quite the same...and his surname is also not Lu. and the story feels weird only when we think lu xiao as the father. if he's not the father then that'll explain why she had a failed marriage and a bad future...and that he could give her a better life.
or maybe since the son is also a scientist and he told lu xiao that he will become a big name in the field of science in future in one of the episodes...that may mean, that while working together lu xiao admitted how he liked Qi Yue a lot.....but she was already married so they couldn't be together
finally a Judy Qi drama!! I'm glad jerron is the main lead this time...and his character is a calm and mature one in this. something new to look forward to! After watching the trailer, i'm quite positive that he'll kill this role
Although the FL may seem to be selfish, as she asked ML to not to like anyone after her. But i think that's quite appropriate and justified if we keep the whole theme of the drama in mind. Many people are against her character and wanted more character growth but i think that her behaviour isn't so casual. she lost her father, had been in hospital for cancer treatment for about 2 years, now she's 18, her mother controlled her throughout her life and basically kept her in the house most of the time, she is even prevented from wearing the clothes that she likes, and now she is having a relapse. How can a child so young, and had struggled so much can be so mature that people expect her to not to act childish. I mean she is a child basically. Ik that you will feel that what would've happened if his 1st lover would have asked him to not to love anyone. But she was genuinely concerned when he didn't went to her grave, and even asked that- if one day she also dies, will he forget her? so she always had that fear. For the first time, she fell so deep in love, received so much care so she just didn't wanted to be forgotten and i think, even if its selfish, these feelings can be in the heart of anyone. Being a child, she can't always be that mature every single time. Its good to allow them to live a good life after one's death but it's also fine to expect something like this from them. And in the first place, he himself concluded that she will be his last woman, so i don't see a problem here.
BUT anyway, i just loved the whole concept of the drama, the small details and the meaning behind every little scene. With such dreamy OSTs playing in the bg, one can literally fall for the drama. The leads had a great chemistry, i can't see them matching so well with any other person ever.
i can't wait at all!!
