Although i agree with you but i still think 6-7 is the max. one can give to it.
Plot was indeed well-thought except for the ending, and cliche scenes but the acting was terrible. The SML did a great job at acting though and in some scenes the FL and ML ( her fiance) did a good job too but overall i wouldn't consider it much. They picked up an intriguing storyline at first but then degraded its quality over the episodes.
However, it was still an enjoyable drama if you just wanna pass time without getting serious over watching something.

my 2 fav actors together with a pleasant storyline is all i need. Moreover the children are acting so well...the daughter is understanding and calm while the son is clever and acting as a catalyst to their relationship. they built the children's character really well. It literally deserves praise.

they had amazing chemistry in "make my heart smile". i'm so happy to see them reuniting for another project like this, especially since its a modern drama. luo zheng acts in historical dramas a lot, although he acts well even in those but still since i don't really prefer historical ones, i'm so relieved!

this was actually fun to watch every week. like i'm not really a fan of romance and melodramas but still i was eager to get to know more of the story every week although i skipped quite a lot of parts.

falling before fireworks seems a bit slow-paced so I'm a bit scared to try it out since I barely have time these days. as for forbidden flower, the story of age gap dramas is usually the same old one but forbidden flower was so differently constituted...i really cherish that drama. the place they filmed it was sort of like a healing place that i imagine plus although not on love basis, but through other emotions, i could relate a lot to it.

i think the ending was quite abrupt considering the plot advancement....throughout the series they were trying to build up on her dream to be a composer and the romance between the leads...but the ending didn't completed any of this

Exactly! its not like they killed somebody. plus they are already grown-ups and are adults basically. people at that age can surely do whatever they want as long as its legal. its not like they took drugs or smth bruh...they didn't got any opportunity for so long...so what's the problem in attaining happiness in other ways like clubs or smth

actually i've watched that already....but i seem to have forgotten it lol. and i'm super busy these days to be able to rewatch it.
