TFF is my most favorite novel among all the countless of others I had read before, I love Sangyan and Wen Yifan's story so much. I know there were some changes that were made in the drama but honestly I really love how the scriptwriter and director changed this part of the novel (HK arc). Instead of just telling Yifan's past while reminiscing in the airplane on her way to Yihe they made Sangyan visit her past while finding her which made the hotel scene more dramatic and you could feel their yearning from not seeing each other in 6 months instead of just being seperated for few days away from Nantwu to Yihe. So this is why I love the changes more but ofc we all have our own preferences either way it doesn't change fact that TFF no matter what form be it novel, manhua or drama is a masterpiece.

Part of her reasons wasn't only for herself but actually Sangyan as well. She was never selfish to begin with. Some people will never understand flawed and complex characters when they lack empathy and compassion.

Sang Yan is truly the epitome of 'if he wanted to, he would'. There are so many times he could have chosen to move on and give up because the future is unknown and there wasn't much certainity but the fact he kept going with his love for Yi Fan no matter how unsure the future ahead is and she is the only one he has liked and loved all those years, oh to be loved by someone who will only have you in their heart it's a true love that is so rare to find in real life these days. Maybe this is also the reason why I still haven't move on from this drama.
