true that....probably because of the way she treated his older brother....but also i really want to know what happened between the brothers....do you think maybe, knowing his older brother did not want to be king, i-an offered and as an "or else" told his that he should take responsibility for his choice?!??!? am so dying of curiosity to know what happened between the brother.....but also one hundred percent sure he never had any "romantic" interactions with the sister-in-law....for sure....oh! please dont let there be any of that :-((

i did wonder about the source of his ambition and i agree with you....it is mostly likely about protecting the current king's childhood which he can see being ruined by his mother....so even if he becomes king now, he'll likely abdicate in favour of his nephew when he is old enough

she might also want "him" because he is, unlike his brother - her husband, strong and as we saw in the third episode, not without ambition....honestly that ambiguously worded, "if i want to be king" shocked me....didn't see that coming....nice one
