This is the part that got me to start this drama

She was the first one casted for the drama , not sure how much say she has in casting her co stars. But nevertheless, she has great chemistry with them

Love the chemistry between Sam Soon and Sam Shik. Kim sun Ah is so funny here! I liked the narrating style of this PD( he also directed Woman of Dignity)

It's not boring! Its warm , touching and funny too. The medical cases are quite realistic although a little exaggerated but hey all medical dramas are exaggerated somehow. Remember how Yong Pal can fix all those bleeding wounds all by himself? This in comparison is more realistic

Most surgeries are done in brightly litted room with another focused on the body part which is going to be operated. However certain surgeries especially those using scopes will be conducted in dark room as scopes are connected to camera

That's a laparotomy i.e. open abdominal surgery to remove damaged internal organ which happens in car accidents,its real not fiction

Just completed this epic drama,I m now feeling empty LOL. Although I started late ,I absolutely loved it and well spent 54 hours . This is my first Hu Ge's drama and I m totally impressed by him. The last two confrontations scene between the Emperor and his best friend Lin Chen were spectacular-so much emotions and feel. The actor who portrayed the emperor is also very good- the moment he went down on his knees and started reminiscing the past regretfully , he totally nailed it. Other worth mentioning memorable scenes when Xiao JingYan distrusted Su Ze and wanted to rescue Wei Zheng , when JingYan finally knew he was Lin Shu,when Consort Jing immediately broke down after feeling Lin Shu's pulse and of cos, when Nihuang confronted Mei Changsu to expose his identity. All the ploys and twists were cleverly written ,although I thought SFD was more intense hence I took the 0.5 out of ten

I have always liked Japanese drama's simplicity and humor . This drama has another captivating point i.e. unexpected twists that is absolutely funny . The ending made ROFL . Sakai Masato is spectacular here - he totally brought out the comedy, the wittiness and the annoyance from Komikado sensei. First time watching Aragaki Yui - she's just perfect as asadora heroine. And of cos I love Hattori san- wish I have a Hattori san at home

IKR Can't imagine she can actually write two contrasting stories i.e. Strong woman DBS n WOD. I can't bring myself to watch something like DBS

Can't find any reasons not to give this a ten. I haven't felt this good since dear my friends and Chicago typewriter.

" People must pay fair price for what they have done" this is what this drama basically wants to tell us- we are responsible for our own action.

i enjoyed the mystery, the humor and the satire and most of all the acting from the two main leads. I love Park Bokja the most . The most pitiful person is Director Ahn / Father - he lost the person that he really loves and who actually cared for him. The most detestable person has to be Park Joo Mi, Woon Kyu's mom . She is a college professor aka highly educated and yet she blamed everybody else for her situation. She never stood by her husband and couldn't protect her own son. Of the three kids, at least the eldest repented and did something good in the end.

Lastly I thank JTBC for showing this ( I read that there were no takers after the drama finished filming in Mar- it's a preproduced drama) and director nim for casting the two A listers female leads . I am not sure we will get to watch KSA and KHS again in the future but this is a bonus. KSA is spectacular

IKR ! KSA is the epitome of versatility. Thanks got the recommendation, will try to watch Perfect wife one of these days

Didn't watch Perfect Wife but these two leading ladies esp KSA are way way better than the two in Perfect Wife. KSA aka Park Bok Ja will definitely be remembered as awesome , badass and yet empathetic antagonist / villain.

This is a poetic mesmerizing movie. The acting was raw and great esp from the teenage girl Soo Rin. The cinematography was beautiful and theme was hauntingly captivating. Kang Dong Won as usual nailed his role.

Started this late as I have read too many bad reviews but I like HJW so much to skip it. I have watched the Taiwan version too and I like Chen Bo Lin . However I prefer the Korean version as it is has more warmth and less banter. I really can't stand Ariel Lin's character . I actually thought HJW and LJW has great chemistry- they were so comfortable with each other- I liked them !

That's the difference between great and so so actors LOL

Yeh ! That should be the way-solid story, strong cast and great acting- no need cute handsome face to pull in ratings

Kim Sun Ah never disappoints! Park Bok Ja is creepy as hell - besides top notch acting from her, she totally nailed the role with her looks, hairstyle and how she speaks. The opening of the drama was fantastic- straight away sets up an intriguing journey of these two main ladies.
