I actually prefer Kim Eun Sook's older dramas . Hence her collaboration with director Shin Woo Chul produced mega hits - Lovers in Paris, Lovers, City Hall, Gentleman'sdignity and Secret garden ( their last collaboration). And I realized their combo cast great actors- Park Shin yang , Kim Jung Eun,Lee Seo Jin, Kim Sun Ah, Cha Seung Won, Lee Bum Soo , Kim Ha Neul,Hyun Bin , Ha Ji Won. Wow KES must be super rich now

Beautiful drama ,well balanced even though the theme is more of a melodrama but it has humor , romance and slice of life. Kim Sun Ah is one amazing actress- just watching her eyes can make one cries. I just watched City Hall prior to this and what a 180 degree change in her character. Although some says Yeon Jae was selfish to fall in love with Ji Wook but in reality humans are known to be selfish at times like this. The love between Yeon Je and her mom is so touching. One of LDW 's better works besides Goblin.

I liked this despite it being controversial for many people. I applaud the writer for narrating JOK 's and King Sukjong 's story from a totally opposite point of view. I do believe that the king really loves JOK - she is probably the only concubine that was promoted to Queen and post humously ,even after many years, her tomb was moved next to King Sukjong and Queen Inhyun. Choi Suk Bin is portrayed villainous here that irked many Dong Yi fans but from history, nothing much is written about her. And like the writer I believe Dong Yi is not as angelic as portrayed in Dong Yi esp how she made the king meets her.

Anyway most importantly I really love YAI 's performance here. The last two episodes made me cry buckets esp after watching his face. There's the rebellious Yi Bang Won as well as the hopeless romantic Lee Sung Jae in his acting as King Sukjong. I strongly recommend to watch this if you are a YAI 's fan. Other cast worth mentioning is the Queen Mother and Jang Hyun (played by Sung Dong Ill) Kim Tae hee is just ok for me. This drama has beautiful costumes .

Up to date, YAI has portrayed strong and controversial kings/ monarchs of Joseon - King Sukjong, Prince Sado and Prince Yi Bang Won . For me, he's the best in these roles. And he's very versatile - can act well both saeguk and modern dramas

so, I just finished watching SIX FLYING DRAGONS. is this show worth watching? how much worth is watching this…
Just finished,I would say worth watching. Suprisingly the fighting among queen and concubines was minimal and not overdone. YAI plays a major part in this drama despite its title JOJ. The first third of the story is more about their love, second part is their struggles and solidifying their feelings and final part the most depressing part. I like how this writer took a different POV of JOJ however warning !if you have watched Dong Yi first (which I didn't) you will be disgusted with this .

I haven't finish the drama yet but until now I am just captivated by YAI 's performance. Ep 9 was daebak for me. i can't tell how the drama is going to progress, but after reading some review ,I think YAI 's king sukjong definitely made a presence. It's not as exciting as SFD I can say but like I said this is a different side of YAI - someone that wants to live and die for love ,which we don't get to see in SFD . Perhaps i can give a clearer picture once I complete it by next week

I just started watching, now ep 8. Loving it so far, initially hesitated because I thought the show is more about Kim Tae Hee but Yoo Ah In really stole the show. It's a different side of him than Yi Bang Won in SFD .watch it if you are a YAI's fan

The story is quite refreshing and original - Ahjumma Seolok sounds like Sherlock is one of the quirkiest character…
I thought it has humor, mystery and romance - plus the chemistry between KSW and CKH is superb. Even the supporting cast is funny.for me worth watching

Refreshing drama, great acting by the cast ,pacing and directing of drama was just nice! I really like how the director chose to show the two stories consequently instead of swinging back and forth. I was expecting the ending to be such because the fact that they never mentioned even once why Byul was sent to earth. Pretty sure they are going for season 2

Great movie! Story is not something new but the storytelling ,cinematography and directing was awesome. Especially a superb main cast- Jo In Sung made the role his, Ryu Joon Yeol made his character memorable, Jung Woo Sung and Bae Sung Woo were menacing .Four of them had superb chemistry- I highly recommend if you like this kind of movie and definitely not miss it if you are JIS's fan

The story is quite refreshing and original - Ahjumma Seolok sounds like Sherlock is one of the quirkiest character I have ever come across; paired with the scarred slightly grandiose Detective Ha was brilliant! CKH and KSW had great chemistry- CKH made the role hers and KSW still as hot as ever . The supporting cast was awesome too (only person I dislike is the jerk i.e. Ahjumma' s hubby) I am quite sure they will have season 2

I loved it ; great joy watching PHJ - he has great chemistry with KMJ PSW and JMS. I am not sure why there are so much hate for KMJ but I really liked her. I felt PSW is a little under used here ,wish there was more bromance as he is super hilarious

Beautiful story of friendship and love! Great cast and acting plus amazing cinematography. Best drama of 2017 IMO. I love how the past life story fits into the current life nicely. This drama has beautiful and touching quotes and dialogues ,so worth rewatching to fully indulge and get 'lost' in it and a wonderful OST that suits the mood of the drama so well. It also has a strong message to life (well explained by Han Se Ju's own transformation). YAI and Im Soo Jung were stellar in their performance and I think this is the best role that Go Kyung Po ever had.Daebak to the crew

Great drama, great story ,my next favorite saeguk after SFD. This is not so emotionally drained like SFD and very funny. I must say good director indeed makes a difference-he definitely brought out the best in the main actors.Someone like Lee Ha Nui whom I have watched her in her previous projects like Pasta, gave her best performance here.....like singing while crying, tears welling up her eyes yet with a smile etc. Another stellar actor that must be mentioned is Kim Sang Jong aka Ah Moe Gae; he gave such a raw performance that it's impossible one is not moved by it. Highly recommended

This is not a bad drama ,I like it. I can't find any loopholes in the story despite many twists and turns . I thought it was cleverly written and nicely executed by both the cast and the director. The second couple definitely stole the show esp playing baddie Kwon Yool. I sympathized with their story , both were lovers but crumbled under pressure and ended up betraying and losing so much . The last meeting between them at the temple was the most memorable scene for me. I also liked Lee Sang Yoon here,I thought it was his best performance among all the rom com that I have watched him before; like someone mentioned earlier, his eyebrows do make a presence in this drama.
