A lot of people want to see more YMH/KSY :( I'm bummed that in Ep 11 (His screen time was 5-6 minutes). While, it was nice to see the Ahjussi get backstory. I hope that means YMH's backstory gets to be delved more into in the latter end. It would be a shame if everytime he and his son meet, they fight. I want to see more YMH scenes, sigh. My enjoyment would go up if we get to see KSY tackle a similar role like this in his next drama...

Spoiler for Ep 12: Now that Tae-yi has regained her memories, I hope that she and Min-hyuk can talk things out, and hug or what not. And that he can finally confess to her his true feelings to her. I want them to work things out, and end up as a couple again.

Ep 12 was much much better in terms of moving the story forward, and FINALLY putting an end to whatever weird stuff with mother and son for GOOD!!! Every weird assumption was put to rest, and now that we know, we can FINALLY move on.

It takes the show Train aired this year, and commits to some of the ideas that the show left untouched, and explores it a bit more here. Lots of reveals happened, and it made me excited for the show once again. Alice was created for good intentions, but as we seen, it's caused more problems than expected. Moral is don't mess up with timelines and instead live in the now, or else....

Omg finally she knows! Tbh so many K-dramas could be sped up had they taken a DNA test :3 Again, very weird choice by PD/Writer on her reaction to seeing the photo. Mommy Dearest??

I do think that they spent useless time on the faux-cest, that the time stuff took a backturn. The books started the show from the start as always, but the danger of the book has lessened.

Alice (Hotel Alice) needs to be shown more. I mean do we even know whose behind Alice? I want to know how Tae-yi even got into Alice or Min-hyuk as well?

Yes I know that show! It was short-lived! I do like Kim Hee Sun though, she's known to be very kind/fun in person! Kwak Si Yang said she gave him a B-day present despite him not telling her of his B-day, and was warm/kind than the cold ness he though she would be. That being said, hearing that her husband didn't like the Faith kiss and vetoed it makes me wonder if MH/TY are even going to have a kiss scene/intimate scenes?

Ep 11 was really good and suspenseful. It's finally gearing up for a definite finale soon. I would stick till the end, unless they kill off MH which would be (*expletives inducing).

Yeah, her husband was on set during Faith kiss scene. He wasn't a fan of the kiss scene :/ Hey, every actress is different but it's a bummer lol. Look at Kim Hee Ae, she's like kissing/having sex/etc even tho she's married/have kids.

Same here. His previous roles were nice guy roles, which are a dime a dozen. Nothing noteworthy. However, in Alice, he really fits the action/drama genre. I didn't watch Welcome 2 Life, although his part was again the nice guy (But in that show, he did show off his action chops). I hope he chooses an action show next, because that genre is where he shines (And one that could make him a bigger name than he is now).

I hate to say it, but you are right. I think the plot has become stagnant, and I forgot most of the time travel things. Not a total blame on Alice, but these days with how many dramas come out, you need to stand out with strong/memorable writing. I'm almost at the finish line, so I just waiting to see how it ends at this point tbh.

No wonder both the writer and director of this show are men, as it shows with how they been handling the female characters. SMH. Take a note from Stranger or even 18 Again, on writing strong interesting female characters (big or small). I just want badass TY from Ep 1/2 back again!!

They did have one as a supporting character in Jealously Incarnate with Lee Sung Jae! PJG also said when asked by TY: "I don't like women. I also don't like men. Must I be attracted to someone?" in Ep 3 or 4. I hope they don't shoehorn a romance, because A) Fast Development that makes no sense in relation to PJG as a character B) Takes time away from other important characters (MH)

I think that PJG is asexual, and I hope that they don't try to shoehorn romance here. Again, the romances here save for MH/TY are just creepy/unnecessary.

The fact that the writer and the director is even creating those assumptions is so gross to me. They know what they are doing and its not even slick. Now, instead of the time travel aspects, most if not all people are talking about is the weird relationship between mother and son. EW at that shampoo scene where Do Yeon says to TY/PJ "Why don't you get naked and take a bath together as well?"

The first two episodes were amazing. Fast paced, and good foundation but I think this being a Network show jinxed its chances to be really amazing. Imagine this as an OCN show or tvN show, and take out the romance, and this show would have benefitted hard. Also not a fan of our FL being turned into a damsel in distress.

Damn that sucks tbh, not sure why give a talented actor a nothing role and why KSY would even take such a role that gives him nothing to do but pine over the FL who could care less about him :/

It feels like our 2nd ML should've ended up with the FL in the show. Thanks once again for answering my silly questions, very grateful haha :) !

Thanks for answering btw! I was asking b/c I wanted to watch this for KSY, but hearing that his role here is small/doesn't have much of an arc is a bummer. I mean if he had romantic vibes with FL, then maybe but I guess his role is just a plot device for the ML/FL to get together.

Same here. A shame that instead of delving more into Min-hyuk as a character, we had to see faux-cest smh. Kwak Si-yang never stood out to me, but in Alice, he's really showing his leading man chops here. If he can give dimensions to a standard role, and make us feel for Min-hyuk despite the small screen time, then I'm excited to see how he'll tackle a Lead role in a Drama (Something melodramatic or action packed would suit him).

Unfortunately (Yay for FL led stories) but its focused primarily on our FL's arc as she's the main character. The ML's arc isn't as strong as her's, this is from the synopsis I've read, and also from GKP, who said he chose this show b/c it was attractive seeing a female centric story.

I think I fell asleep watching the last few episodes. Boring w/o much depth. There's some great elements like dirt spoon/hierarchy/meta-ness with PBG's rl rise but it's muddled underneath in filler plots/characters.
