i know we're all shaking and screaming at the schedule because it's so good but tbh i think it works out, the pacing is good and there's not a dull moment as i don't find myself constantly looking at the time (which is a bonus for my zero attention span lately lol) + the cliffhangers builds up that suspense until the next day which leaves you wanting more!
as someone who rarely watches non romance dramas imo i think this one could go without it like i know it will but so far i'm not entirely convinced yet (based on 6 episodes! happy to be proven wrong) i'm enjoying the dynamics - from family, friends, enemies and allies - and perhaps what's interesting is how they all can apply to the same characters' relationship
on a positive note i love how they pretty much rebuked her attempt of trying to get in the way of their relationship, when they were pretending to fight at the end and the kisses was cute ngl
i'm loving both of our fls and how they're morally grey, smart and calculating. their dynamic is so interesting to watch because on one hand they have this protective camaraderie between them but it also feels tense like i'm constantly on edge, just waiting for the impending betrayal. i pray this doesn't happen though. they both must have went through a lot so i only wish they can find comfort in each other. 😭😭
in an alternative reality, i really feel like it would be a great setup for a sapphic romance. the chemistry is definitely there. rob the men of everything they have and then run off together? SIGN ME UP lmao.
first impressions: i'm liking the darker tone, visuals are good, decent pacing that i didn't even notice that an hour has passed and production is obviously high.
i know these girls are essentially trained to be on their own and to trust no one but i really hope it'll be a "girls protect girls" situation and they'll bond over shared trauma and their mission. or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part because i'm tired of scheming and backstabbing that happens in historicals especially between women. looking forward to more of their backstories and interactions.
