i didn't like it either. I turned my brain off at ep 1 and enjoyed the rest of the episodes. Don't worry it will be worth the watch. I think ep 1 just showed how poor Sangsik in terms of common sense, but poor depiction to the point of tying him 😩

I'm addicted too. If you already know the first secret in Pink Lie, the secrets here are not that deep. But the access to the lies are not as blatant as Pink Lie. There is a 'competition' who gets to enter the room of secrets. (So you enter it more than once or you may never had a chance at all). If you are going to binge this, you shall keep in mind too that the last episode remains unsubbed by the one uploading in the Gdrive, tteokbeokki subs have subbed it but they seem to be just translations. I'm still kinda waiting for a proper subbed from the Gdrive link but I already watched the end game and I shall say I'm a bit disappointed. But the journey is fun so I do not regret watching this. (LOL what a long comment)

I think Seongnam is getting on the King's nerves because he knows he should've act like that when he was younger. But I think, he is more like Prince Bogeom at that time. It is a major factor too that the current King and the prince who should've been King are just half brothers but now, he feels somehow guilty.

The scene with the girl is so unnecessary (also Rain's cameo). It was like inserted randomly. I guess for comic relief or a breather amidst the high tension scenes? (good thing it was just short, but still..)

the ending is so heartwarming, that I thought there will be an ad for heater or sth.
The epilogue tho, I wonder if they will make season 2 with more of Aziz, but this is already good as it is. Matan's ending is unexpected and was so undramatic (it is an unrealistic reaction but this is comedy).

Sangsik interrogating MaTan is seriously gold! Kwak Dongyeon has been portraying serious roles but that scene really have that comedy undertone to it. He's now my #1 favorite korean actor. ughh.
BTW about the guy who made the video public was already revealed and it seems he was there when Matan and Sangsik were both exchanging lines like they were lovers. (I can't with those two!) I think he will play a major role in the last episode.

I also think Han Sohee shines better in a non-romance genre. I really like her performance in My Name.
