"Person Who Gives Happiness" is a drama that focuses on the life of Eun Hee.

Life was perfect when Eun Hee was a child, living with her father and her sister Eun Ah, but one day everything changes when her father dies and Park Bok Ae, his worker, steals the family's money and leaves the two girls in an orphanage. Eun Ah is adopted by a family that only mistreats her and in the end it is understood that the girl dies. Eun Hee is devastated and ends up accepting financial help from Bok Ae, without knowing that she was the one who killed her father, when he discovered that she was stealing from his company.

Time passes and Eun Hee grows up to become a wonderful woman. She continues to help the orphanage where she lived and there she meets Gun Woo, a kind-hearted man who always tries to help others around him. He ends up falling in love with Eun Hee basically from the moment he meets her. One day, a baby appears on Bok Ae's doorstep. The child is actually the son of Seok Jin and his girlfriend Ja Kyung. Since she is a famous actress, she had the child in secret and her mother abandoned the child at her grandmother's house, who had no intention of keeping the baby. Eun Hee decides to become the child's mother, as she felt a bond from the moment she found him. She names him In Ha Yoon.

Years pass and Bok Ae begins to become more possessive of Ha Yoon. The problem is that the person who has legal custody of the child is Eun Hee, so Bok Ae makes an evil scheme for Eun Hee to marry Seok Jin so that he has legal rights over Ha Yoon. When Eun Hee finds out the truth, Bok Ae reports her for kidnapping and from then on an eternal fight begins between the two over Ha Yoon. However, Eun Hee really loves Ha Yoon, so she gives up the boy so that he doesn't suffer anymore with all this.

Poor Ha Yoon, this child suffered a lot during this drama. He had a happy life with Eun Hee, starting his career as an actor, but because of Bok Ae, his crazy grandmother, the boy only suffered. He found out that Seok Jin is his father, then he was separated from Eun Hee and found out that she was not his biological mother. He had to live with Ja Kyung, who only mistreated him, always missing Eun Hee. He ends up with cancer and almost dying, he didn't have a minute of rest... thank goodness in the end everything works out!

During the drama, the bond between Ha Yoon and Eun Hee becomes clear, like the extreme love she has for him, even a biological mother wouldn't love a son as much as she loves Ha Yoon and wouldn't make all the sacrifices that Eun Hee made. At the same time, if we compare it to the people who are biologically related to Ha Yoon: Bok Ae, Seok Jin and Ja Kyung, who only thought about themselves and didn't care at any time about the boy's feelings, cruel and selfish people.

Romance isn't really the focus of the story, we don't see much of Gun Woo and Eun Hee as a couple, but rather them together with Ha Yoon as a family and I actually liked that a lot. Gun Woo followed Ha Yoon's growth together with Eun Hee, he basically helped raise the boy, their relationship wasn't something frivolous, during all that time together, they had already surpassed that stage. It was beautiful to see Gun Woo accepting Ha Yoon as his son, I loved seeing the two of them jealous of Eun Hee. HAHA'

Park Bok Ae is a villain worthy of hatred, she was one of the worst people I've ever seen in dramas, it's hard to find someone so detestable. Everything she did for Eun Hee's family and until the end she didn't feel any remorse or guilt, a horrible person, basically a monster. She deserved to end up like that, without any sanity, trapped and alone

Watching this drama was truly an endless joy. I was enchanted by these fantastic characters, I was frustrated and angry because of Park Bok Ae and all the misfortune she brought with her, but at the same time I smiled a lot with the unconditional love between Eun Hee and Ha Yoon, this story beautifully showed that blood ties do not mean family, but rather the love between people.
