"Karma" is a suspense about 6 people and how they are connected to each other.
The drama begins with a man who is completely burned and is rescued and brought to a hospital. He manages to survive and when he says his name, the doctor on duty is shocked, as if she were seeing a ghost. What develops in the drama goes back exactly to the relationship between these two characters.
Everything that happens is connected, all the characters and all the situations, really making it clear that karma comes to those who do something wrong... it may take time, but eventually it comes.
The person we have known as Jae Yeong all this time actually stole the identity of the real Jae Yeong, who is the man who hired someone to kill his father and get the insurance money, he is also the person who raped Joo Yeon when she was a teenager. The fake Jae Yeong is actually called Beom Jun, he and Yoo Jeong are a pair of thieves who trick men and then blackmail them for money, but they are also connected to Joo Yeong, since her rape was planned by these two.
The whole drama is a tangle of connections, which are slowly developed throughout the episodes, but basically all the people who die, deserved it. Beom Jun's ending is incredible, because he thinks he got away with everything, stealing Jae Yeong's identity, but in addition to not getting the insurance money, he also ends up dying at the hands of Joo Yeon's boyfriend, who coincidentally works for the loan sharks that the real Jae Yeong owed money to. It's a fantastic scene!
There was no way it could go wrong with a cast like this: Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Kim Nam Gil, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Hee Joon <3
