Why did police chief tried to cover up the insident when his sons didn't even do anything.
Simple. He assumed his son also did it, even if he didn't, he was there 'letting' it happen. It was easier to cover up than to prove his son innocence. And he was too invest on his own reputation. Which couldn't be worse.
Could have been a 8.5 for the acting and plot - all actors did a great job. Predictable plot, but at least there…
Just remember it was weekly episodes (two episodes per week) when it was airing, almost 2 months to complete. I watched it when it was ongoing and the repeated scenes helped me so much since there are so many characters and multi-layered plot. Also I watched other ongoing dramas that time so it was so easy to forget names, especially these supporting roles.
why people are calling it cringe, I'm personally loving this. The FL is cute and her acting cute doesn't feel…
People these days being unnecessary critical over everything. Like God forbid them to just have a little fun. Tbh I'm kinda done with k-traumas these days, let's have a break and give me a fun cheesy romance drama instead.
It's actually quite well-written; everyone has a purpose in the story, and there are fairly realistic character arcs. Also, I always like dramas with a found-family theme.
Don't expect a deep and poignant story from just 10 episodes, this is literally a drama meant to be watched comfortably. It might be a bit dragging in the middle, butโat least for meโI can still follow it until the end.
No unnecessary drama and romance; just people who love cooking in different ways. Good job!
(And I just realized the Lovely Jogger reference is from Lovely Runner. From Sunjae to Eunjae. ๐คฃ And how Chunseung asked Eunjae's high school and suddenly feel nostalgic, lol. ๐คฃ)

I don't think Ina would get killed. Remember that the killer starting to kill again 10 years later once Ina became a profiler? Maybe the killer knew Ina was the only one who took the puzzle pieces seriously, while other detectives don't and investigate them as separate cases.
(I wish I could see Mirae & Sejin's scenes more, or at least when they're being romantic to each other haha.)
