People these days being unnecessary critical over everything. Like God forbid them to just have a little fun. Tbh I'm kinda done with k-traumas these days, let's have a break and give me a fun cheesy romance drama instead.
It's actually quite well-written; everyone has a purpose in the story, and there are fairly realistic character arcs. Also, I always like dramas with a found-family theme.
Don't expect a deep and poignant story from just 10 episodes, this is literally a drama meant to be watched comfortably. It might be a bit dragging in the middle, but—at least for me—I can still follow it until the end.
No unnecessary drama and romance; just people who love cooking in different ways. Good job!

From ep 9, it's clear that Jeongho knew the killer and trying to "protect" him from killing again, and somehow he feels it's part of his fault that all of this started.
By the look of it, Jeongho was more afraid that Choi San knows more than he should, especially on the handkerchief scenes, because again, he was trying to protect the real killer.
