This show is pretty good... I finished it and thats saying something since I've been dropping dramas like crazy…
Totally, i feel you! Now that you said it, it really is so. Not one character was annoying me. The baddies just mde me feel angry and enraged, but not annoyed. :)
What happened to Hana's family? Why did they die i couldn't catch it
It's revealed in the episodes where she catches here evil uncle. The company her father owned went bankrupt because of the schemes of Taesin and co., and her uncle overtook it. Because of that the family didn't have any income and was probably in a lot of debt, i don't know exactly. But what was clear from her memories ist that they poisoned themselves, probably father and mother decided that selfishly for the whole family. I am assuming that Hana survived because she threw up. I don't really know, maybe the webtoon has more details about it
I still have some questions.First of all, why was no one curious that Cha Myeong Ju stayed in room 309 for such…
I just watched the 1st ep and I read what you wrote. I wanted to help you with the questions you aksed becausethey are already answered in the 1st ep. All new prosecutors were transfered in that town and, interestingly enough, placed in that room. They didn't like the town enough to stay working there. The main lead said so himslf towards the end of the episode. Heck even the general state prosecutor never paid them a visit, he forgot, they were always forgoten. Thats how appealing and interesting the town is and to work there. :\ As to why the FL is staying, I can't tell you for sure because i just saw the 1st ep today. But maybe the reason is that she just likes it there.
As for the ghost? There is no ghost. After post credit scene and the new episode preview, there was also a scene where it showed how the shaman actually found out about the room 309. The prosecutor from 5 years ago, that was working on the missing child case went to the shaman and told him that he hears someone walking on highheals at night. The shaman asked him in which room is he working and he remembered it till this day, when it came benificial for him. Now you are probably saying that it doesn't answer the question about the ghost because the past prosecutor heard it and went to the shaman beacuse of it. Well, this drama is pretty realistic (considering all the reviews I read about it), so looking it from that point of view - it's most probably that the prosecutor heard something that reminded him of someone walking in highheals, or it was just like a phantom noise. He was bothered by the case which he couldn't solve, there was a kid involved in it, he was probably stressed out and so on and so on. It's probably not the answers you wanted to hear. But rerally, just think a little bit about what kind of drama this is. This isn't a scifi and mystery drama. It's slice of life, the daily life of the prosecutors, they didn't bother to explain the mystery about the room 309 futher beacuse it is sort of self explanatory. The FL didn't hear any highheal sound because there weren't any in the first place. There just is no mystery at all. :)
I just finished the drama and wanted to say how I loved it beacuse it was fun and lighthearted. What I especially liked is that there was no real love triangle, not so real corporate plots and schemes, the kinds we are used to seeing in dramas. The mean fater/mother/head of the family, the mean second lead that's trying to make life a living hell for the main leads, the jealous ex and so on. You can find all those characters in this drama as well, but down to earth and not mean at all. They are just normal people who have issues of their own and we see their stories as well. But I need to say how I also thought that the story in general was a little bit long and reptitive. It was kind of watered downed and 12 episodes would have really been enough. All in all it was fun and cute, it had a nice message and all of the cast had a great chemistry. If you are wondering to give it try, don't do it if you expect something that would make your insides boil from the anger and unjustice and so on. Try it if you are looking for something fun, funny, interesting and not too bubbly :)
Just finished this drama! beautiful plot line, really enjoyed it, I was just a little upset in the end that everyone…
100? How? I don't get your math, but I might be missing something... Also, maybe you know, how come did EunTak got told that she had lived her first life, when the Goblin told her he had met her before in the past (as the waitress woman in Goryo)? I tried to find the answer to that question, but not much luck and decided i give it a go here >_>
just started watching, finished 2 eps and it is getting a bit disappointing because it seems to me like i already…
it's interesting enough to watch till end, like i said i love the reply series, but out of the 3, this one is really boring and not that funny at all :\
just started watching, finished 2 eps and it is getting a bit disappointing because it seems to me like i already know who is the husband. altho the drama is more than just finding out who she ends up with, it slowly losing my interest. but since i am a huge fan of the reply series, i will see this through end, but i don't think it will top the 1997 for me :\
i've seen only few episodes so far but it seems terribly slow-paced (especially when i compare it with 1997).…
yes!! thats exactly how i feel.. i like it and love evry single episode and character and everything, but please be over already! but i like you! lol
thats how i felt about 1994 compared to 1997 which was, to me, normal paced, i.e. how i'd like every drama to be :)
aww so cute!! i like it. even tho everything was rushed, but i guess thats what you get when you try to put one whole manga into 2hours of film, so im not to hung up on that part.
yamapi was so adorable, i melted!!!
go with 1997, you'll get familiar with the premise of the series and later when you watch the 1994 and see a char from the 1997 make a small appereance you'll find it funny, cute, adorable, since you know the personality of that char that way you also know the reason for it's silly actions, and all of that makes your mouth into a huge silly smile and etc.. but if you start with 1994, the few times that the 1997 chars appear won't have any meaning, will be just another scene in a drama with some randome people :\
also, DO NOT READ THE SPOILERS!!! srsly! both of these dramas contain something that the watcher is supposed to find out at the last episode and that is also one of the fun things about these two dramas, that thing that keeps you guessing. :)
I don't like how this is going to be 20 episodes, it didn't work for reply 1994 since that show started to drag…
same, 1994 had 21 eps and it really was at least 5 eps longer than it should have been. after around 15th ep i was begining to get annoyed at the story cause it was being watered down and there was still 6 ep left till the end..........
so these 20eps for this one don't sound good to me either, but i can hope that this time they have it properly planned out so it doesn't get too draggy :\
ep 5 finished, can't feel the noona romance yet but it's probably too early. in fact i don't know on what basis will min seok fall in love with her. just because she's there, at the same place and at the same time as him? i just can't see those two in a love line, friendship yes, romance no :\
and this drama really has only annyoing female characters, well tbh from what i've seen so far the only characters that aren't annoying are min seok and his grandfather. tho i love the relationship between min seok and chang soo, and that 'good bye' he says to chang soo when he's annoyed or angry is so cute, really childish - how it's supposed to be :)
honestly, i wanted to drop this drama after the first episode because i was so annoyed by everything and everyone (except the already mentioned exceptions) but then i read some spoilers and realized that at some point the brother will show up and it will be played by seo in guk as well, and im curious to see how he will act him out since his portrayal of a teen pretending to be adult is amazingly accurate. that curiosity is driving me forward. :)
