This was among the earliest Japanese movies I've watched and though I can't remember much of the technical details…
adore this movie. i saw it for the first time couple of years ago and for some reason i remembered it today again and came to this page and saw your comment. now what i want is if you could maybe recommend me some movies that are similar to this one, if you found any? :D
edit: when to your profile... wow, your birthday is day before mine!!!! :P
I really liked and thought Lee Da Hae was a decent person and actress but to play a character like what she is…
yeah.. i rest my case.. i won't respond to you anymore.. you're hopless.. you're probably doing this on purpose too, to vent out or something.. you probably relate yourself to things in dramas way to often and get way too emotional and then react the way you do.. :\
and about your daughter, im sorry, im sure if you think about it you'll realise that i wasn't insulting her, you were. i just wanted to show you how you're wrong in generalising about things. and if you're not that slow, you'll probably realise how i don't think about you as that awful example of a male, i don't know you, i don't hate you, but i don't like you either, i just think you're annoying with always saying the same thing over and over again.
but on the other hand, you hate my guts and don't even kow what kind of person i am, don't know what i stand for, i even agree with you on some of your stands about things, but you don't know that. and that's not important at all beacuse the important thing is that i don't have a dong between my legs and that's an insta -trashy bitch skank who doesn't deserve to live- from you :\
movie was very sweet and lovable, interesting.. great characters, loved everyone! i was certain for most of the movie that it'd be getting a 10 from me, but the last 20-30min ruined the pace of the movie, it got kinda draggy and i found myself bored. even so, that shouldn't be an exuse to not watch this wonderful piece of art for anyone who's still deciding weather to watch it or not :)
sooooo great and love the ending ^^
i would've stopped watching if they followed the manga's ending
phew !
i was just about to go and see how the manga ended, thought there would be more detalis to this kind of ending (what happened after, did she move to new york, him moved back to japan? or something like that). but now i won't, thanks to your comment. im afraid to see a not-so-happy ending so i'll rather live not knowing, hehe :P
antique bakery, one of my top 5.. movie is so good!! and it actually surprised me with how far they went with kim jae wook, since it being from korea :)

dude, really, chill out! you should switch genres. seriously! i see you in almost every romantic drama i've seen or am lurking, where you bash women and hate on triangles and second leads and main leads (especially if they're of the fairer gender).. is there anyone you like?
yes, you've been traumatized by your wife leaving you and taking your daughter, yes i know even that much about you since you leave it in the comments all the time, weather it is true or not, am not interested.. but you need to stop whining about it and generalising.
how come you don't say all the men are dicks who only think with their stick? there's plenty of drama where women are treated like garbage, abused, raped. actually for that you don't even need dramas, you can just turn on the news. will you generalise then, will you say then that the men are the scum of the earth who only make women's life miserable and use them to satisfy their inefriority complex?
you won't! because you know it isn't true. same as fricking women. people come in different shapes, sizes, personalities and weather it is a good one or an evil fucker it doesn't have anything to do with what's hanging (or not) between their legs..
now move on and forget your wife already.. and for godsake, switch to detective, law, buisness, mystery, horor, or any other genre, anything but romantic, please!
i didn't even know about this!! i just randomly ran into it. how come i didn't know about it!!!!
ahh i am so glad!! can't wait to see komikado sensei in all his glory again!
from the plot description, this sounds a bit similar to last cinderella. is it?
i loved last cinderella, the characters there, all were silly and had pretty good chemistry. so am wondering if this is the same, i wouldn't want to watch the same kind of drama
i read the manga and it was interesting and all, a bit frustrating here and there.. and i didn't think that i'd watch this for those frustrating parts in the manga, even tho i've put it on my ptw list because everyone was talking about it, praising it. i decided to just finally decide on watching it or deleting it from my list by skipping through first ep and it's been 3hours and i'm on ep 6 now.. hehe, so i guess i'm going to watch it till the end but by skipping parts, it's more like with the drama i'm going to recall the manga :D
so far everything is the same as in the manga is, except for the apple thing, in the manga it's a teddy bear :P
So they all knew he was a serial killer? And how did they know?
i assumed it was him the whole time from the first time i saw him, he was going out to jog at night.. but that was just me, my hunch as a spectator.
how did they know? hmm, maybe the same. not really something you wouldn't susspect yourself - your roomate goes jogging at night, next morning they find a dead girl around your neighborhood on the route you're roomate passes. and add to that that all have some kind of issues that are fighting with, him seemingly the only normal one. all of them know each other, sense their troubles and never butting in, never crossing the line like they wouldn't want others to cross theirs. in a way they're strangers and yet they share a deep bond with their monsters..
ohh, this movie is awesome.. keeps me thinking and wondering about it even after i finished it :)
a song that i remember from jdrama that i watched is from arashi - endless game. from the first time i heard it i loved it, it's so catchy..
also, if it counts, i like some other jpop/rock songs which i found out by coincidence were part of some drama i didn't watch. like: orange range's ikenai taiyo for hana kimi, aqua timez's niji for gokusen. awesome songs, a bit old but the ones i always enjoy listening to..
some kdrama songs that i like are every single day's echo (i hear your voice), yoon mirae's touch love (masters sun)
also, i haven't watched hana yori dango yet and i did plan to since it's a supposed masterpiece, but i read the manga and these days i don't think i could put up with that kind of story again, a lot of situations irritated me.. same with hana kim..
i'll check out the duelist :D
oooh, sneaky :P
edit: when to your profile... wow, your birthday is day before mine!!!! :P
how many are out in japan anyway? so far there's only 5 subbed..
such a shame, this is an awesome drama
i will give this a try one day :D
