strange ending... supposedly good because FL and ML ended up together, but then they went to the border to fight... and this 2ML somewhere in the north and it ended with a cliffhanger, as if there was going to be a second season.... hmm... I would prefer a more closed ending without suggesting another part...

I watched episode 29... there's practically not much left to the end of the drama and only the first scene of an attempt to consummate the marriage and on top of that it's again poorly resolved...I still can't believe that the scriptwriters keep going for such cheap standard tricks when it comes to consuming the main leads, in many dramas they prolong this moment, usually giving the death of someone close and mourning as an obstacle... then they pile up problems along the way, all to bring the couple together only at the last moment... it's so boring and classic, and it's a pity that in new dramas directors repeat these patterns..........overall the drama is cool... I like the main leads, but unfortunately I don't feel any chemistry... yes there are nice relationships, they are nice and sometimes they have cute scenes... they mature into love, but I still feel the distance between the main actors, although they try and are already experienced actors... unfortunately they don't convince me in the relationship of mutual love, but it's probably the fault of the script itself... all this is dragged out for too long in their relationships until practically the end of the drama, keeping their feelings reserved for each other for almost the entire drama... it's a pity, because the potential of these actors could have been used... and besides I wonder if the restrictions of the Chinese censorship on these costume dramas have increased when it comes to intimate scenes of leads and kissing scenes, because I have the impression that these new dramas have these scenes very limited, even more so than those from a year ago and further...

I watched One and Only and despite the great performance of the leads and the message, it does not change the fact that the main character was treated in such a cruel way, and Fl committed suicide out of grief, so sorry but such an ending is mega cruel and even if it stems from good premises, it is still drastic and I do not want to watch any more such dramas, and there are a lot of them with such an ending... in reality there is so much cruelty, evil that I wish that in dramas we could see something better and good more often, not idealized, but normal relationships without these constant fights, killing, violence, hectoliters of blood spilled, jealousy, deceitful behavior, jealous and vengeful lovers... it does not give peace of mind and does not give hope for something better, it only plunges a person into sadness and depression...

for me there are too many of these dramatic dramas, I need to calm my emotions down a bit... I've watched a lot of costume dramas, but most of them end with the drama of one of the leads after many traumas.... and I watched Love Like the Galaxy and I really liked it, because both of the lead actors are my favorites.

I started watching this drama, but not wanting to expose myself to another heartache of the ending, I decided to read reviews and watch further fragments of the drama and I was horrified by such destruction of good characters and destruction of main leads FL and ML. Death at the end of FL is a huge blow to the heart and leaving ML alone with the whole trauma of his family and wife's death, it leaves a mark for life, you can't recover from it... and it's hard to be surprised that he's alive, but in reality ML is just an outer shell that has the last task of raising his son, but the departure of his loved ones has completely blinded him to love, out of fear of being hurt again... it's terrible, because I don't know what's better, to die or to live like a zombie without emotions and feelings.... terrible ending and that's why I won't continue watching this drama, even because of the good acting of the actors, because my heart won't stand this sadness and I won't be able to recover from this grief for a long time... I don't want to watch such dramas all the time anymore, I finally need something normal, where there aren't so many fights, betrayals, hatred, envy, jealousy... where is the costume drama where I can finally see normal relationships between people, mutual love and respect, cool parents and in-laws? Is there such a drama?

In this story as I see most people are delighted with FL and ML, while I have the opposite, the most of my positive emotions were gathered by the couple 2FL and 2ML!! It's great that this princess was able to adapt to a free life in the desert, I think that the life of a princess and the rigid rules were not suitable for her temperament, that's why she was able to adapt perfectly to a new life at the side of this sharp-minded 2ML... Unfortunately, for some reason the author of the script decided to kill 2ML and separate her forever from 2FL and their child!!! I was rooting for this couple.... but a big disappointment at the end and mega sadness....

After reading the review about the unhappy ending and realizing that it's about the same king and his unhappy love as in the drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), whose ending left me with a heartache and many tears I decided that I won't watch this drama, even though I love this actor Jang Hyuk. I simply can't stand another repetition of the main leads' breakup and the pathetic sacrifice of love for the good of the country and the extension of the pure blood of the dynasty!!! Sorry I don't want to have my heart broken again. Unfortunately historical Kdramas usually have bad endings...
