I regret watching this because of the heart ache. What was the point of reviving him just for him to die again?…
ok thanks this confirms my decision not to watch this drama... i hate having my heart broken when the main leads fight for something and sacrifice themselves and in the end the director takes away their happiness in one go...

and this is a big mistake, because the viewership could be higher if not for their overcomplicated endings, often different from the original novella, which ends well..

that is, an unhappy ending, even if it suggests an open ending, it's always for the worse.... in that case, even for the actor Xiao Zhan whom I like, I don't even start watching... because if the main leads go through hardships and traumas and in the end one of them dies, then I don't feel like watching such dramas, even if there are beautiful scenes during it... and I can't stand it when the director gives a worse ending than the one in the original novel!!!!!

uff, that's good... thank you....let's see if the director goes according to the book...

I haven't started watching yet, because I'm waiting for the end of the broadcast to see what the ending will be for the main couple... but I saw in the thriller episode 20 I saw that Song Xuan has to marry someone else probably for political reasons, and Jun Qi Luo is at this wedding because she accepts that he has to and rejects him... and then she jumps off a cliff so that he doesn't look back at her and goes the way he has to... if that's the case, then I don't want to watch it at all, because I hate it when I get too emotionally attached to the main actors, and the scriptwriter gives them a bad ending... besides, if he's already married, and she stubbornly wants him to forget about her, what good things can still happen to them??? Has anyone read the script to see how it will go with this pair of leads?

in that era, women's independence was practically non-existent, so it's a big twist of the prevailing social behaviors at that time... when it comes to the example of abuse of women, this example was very emphasized and exposed and it gave the impression that at that time all men abused their concubines, wives and this is already suggesting that women were only oppressed and tortured by men... yes, they didn't have many rights at that time, but it was also not the case that all husbands behaved like that, so it was a big generalization and generalization and suggesting that this is how it was, and I didn't like that... the director probably wanted to emphasize the problem of that era, but I didn't like this binary way of communicating... just like the exaggerated friendships and focusing most on women's relationships and their striving for independence and emphasizing being single and so on throughout drama, it was already boring for me... ML was supposed to find evidence of Prince Ning and hence his scheming all the time, but also knowing that Mu Dan has a negative approach to marriage and wants to be single, hence he didn't have the courage to tell her that he feels something for her, so he pretends to be a good friend, and this fake marriage is a way to get closer to her and keep her closer to himself, because that's how I understand it... but it's all too long, drawn out endlessly and neither one nor the other wants to admit to their feelings for each other, so it goes on forever and this way you can make a few more seasons...

and I see in the comments that there is a season 2, which means that the first season will probably end with an open ending or a cliffhanger, which I don't like, so I guess I don't feel like watching the same concept focused on women and their relationships next year again, because the main couple will probably break up.... I don't feel like struggling with it again and getting angry... this series will be best watched by feminists and women who like boring, endless plots about brave women achieving independence....

I felt exactly the same way watching this story and I'm angry that the female theme dominated, the relationships with her colleagues, the main character's aspirations to be a single businesswoman, of course they gave her so many obstacles to dramatize the plot and let her win against the odds anyway... she and her beliefs and her reasoning, she didn't take into account that not everyone wants the same as her... I was often annoyed by her attitude and I was terribly angry at the lack of practically a romantic plot... seeing that my favorite actors from Go Go Squid played, I thought that in this historical drama they would also have great relationships and a great romantic plot, but no... the romantic plot was secondary and not very exciting... then this fake marriage and the mega annoying pretending that they don't care and that they don't feel anything for each other... I finished at episode 30, when that damn malicious Prince Ning brought a second concubine to Jan Chand... this plot pissed me off mega and I don't know if I want to know what happens next... if I knew that this is practically a drama about women and their fates, without a romantic plot I wouldn't even start watching it, even for the main actors....

because I know the actor Lee Jun Ho from the modern drama King the Land and I liked him a lot, I wanted to watch this costume historical drama with his participation, but when I read in the commentary that it ends so tragically, I won't be able to watch it, because I will have trauma until the end, like after the drama Moon Lovers, where until now when I listen to the OST from this drama my heart despairs.... I can't emotionally endure such endings, especially if I identify with the characters during the drama.... I don't know if these were the true facts about this royal concubine that her child died and she also died while being pregnant again, so if they added it as a fictional plot, I don't like it very much... so despite encouraging some in the comments that it is worth watching for the beauty of the film itself, I won't be convinced to do so because of this sad end of the main characters...

it's terrible that such a tragedy at the end... it's unfair for both... not only did the queen lose her son, but she also died while pregnant... and he also leaves... I won't even start watching it because I can't stand such tragic endings, even if the whole movie had beautiful plots... I know this actor Lee Yun Ho from the modern drama King the Land and he was great... but I won't even start watching this drama for him because of the mega sad ending...

thank you for the suggestion... I will watch it, although I don't like this actress Dilraba Dilmurat very much... I watched a few movies with her participation and although she is an experienced actress, I still have the impression that she plays all the roles the same... however, I really like this actor Yang Yang who played in the movie Fireworks of my hurt with Wang Chu Rang and they had great chemistry...
