nice mini-drama, good to watch, very good chemistry of the main leads, nice actors... villains punished, good ending for Fl and ML... I like that, I don't have to experience dramas and deaths of leads, which usually break my heart... here the main leads are sweet with each other from the beginning and they stick together, despite difficult moments and that's nice... I would gladly watch these actors together in another drama... I recommend...
in my opinion it was really a sad drama... for most of the episodes FL and ML were struggling with adversity and were not really together... only from the middle of the last episode they were shown together in a fast pace, but they did not have much time... the author of the script decided to make a drama at the end and kill ML... it's a pity he did not give them a chance after such traumatic experiences for 53 episodes... to be honest I kept speeding up the episodes because I was hoping that at some point I would see FL and ML living together away from the palace and have a happy ending as a married couple and a family... unfortunately some of the writers of the script I have the impression that they love horror movies and escalate tragic plots for the main leads to the end, to plunge them into despair at the end with the departure of one of them... I can't stand such plots... the acting was great, but the plot of the script was ok for me up to a certain point, but then I lost patience with the multiplying problems for the leads and it pissed me off to the max that the main the antagonists were not held accountable for their crimes until the end, they only persisted in these crimes until the very end of the drama... this is mega weak.... for some time now I can't stand watching such long dramas, because they usually don't have a good ending... you wait so many episodes and you get a killer at the end, or a cliffhanger for the main leads...
I don't understand why Xian Liu was so determined not to leave Xiao Yao anything behind, he completely erased all traces of himself and never confessed his true feelings to her, which is why Xiao had no idea how much he loved her and helped her... it's awful that the scriptwriter treated Xian Liu so cruelly... he really didn't deserve it... why did he want to die in battle with such determination... hundreds of years have passed since the previous battle and generations have changed, he and his adoptive father still couldn't let go and live normally... I simply don't understand this form of self-flagellation and self-annihilation for a cause, especially one so distant and already covered in dust... XL left nothing behind after his entire difficult life, not even a memory of him remained, as if he didn't exist..... it's really unfair... Honestly, I've watched so many dramas with similar plots, where the main characters gave their lives for the world and for a cause without any sense, endured suffering and sacrificed their loved ones, that I am already fed up with such plots... I am really fed up with these tragedies... from this drama I will only look for dramas that do not have in the plot constant palace conflicts, fierce and jealous rivals and heroes sacrificing themselves for the world... it is enough that in real life people in the world create wars, enslave each other, exploit and murder... this reality is enough for me and I do not feel like experiencing these threads in dramas anymore... even if the cast of actors is great, these topics have already tired me emotionally...
beautiful drama and mega moving.... I'm glad they have a happy ending... I can watch these scenes with FL and ML forever, the actors really played their roles great...

I read and read these comments and requests for a tragic ending to the drama and I completely do not understand this intention... what is happening to people here that killing leads is satisfying for them??? Even if there is some plot in the script from which, according to the commentators, it results that the death of leads is a good solution in the end, I am still surprised by such a narrative of human hearts, who scream that it will hurt their hearts, but it is the only solution... what nonsense... I do not agree with such a narrative and I have the impression that most have watched too many horrors and thrillers unfortunately and then from their logic it results that death is the most satisfying ending...
I watched up to episode 13 and watched the last episode to see if the main leads had a good ending... unfortunately the ending is very bad!! I'm furious at the author of the script for ending it in such a way that they have to get to know each other again... it's crazy!!! I'm quitting watching and I won't torture myself with this plot in which the main antagonist blackmails everyone until the last minutes of the last episode... it's ridiculous not to find a good solution for this couple who have experienced so much trauma... but they gave a chance and got married to FL's friend. .. some inexperienced student probably wrote this so as to get through the main leads to the end!!! I hate this plot and ending!! 🤑🥶 whats good in drama? Only actors was good 🙂

I will answer, even though I didn't intend to, because my comment is simply about a drama that I accidentally came across and I don't intend to interact with other commenters because that was not my goal. Just a one-off comment. I think it's a real waste of time to discuss with people who don't understand much that the media currently has a fundamental influence on young people and many of them are often unable to distinguish fiction from reality. Young people copy the behavior of their heroes into reality and treat them as patterns in their lives, and life dramas are often born... they end up at psychotherapists with huge problems... that's why I decided to comment on this drama... well, everyone in these situations comments has the right to express itself, so I see no reason why you use aggressive and malicious language towards my comments.
Turns out that certain critics who come here to 'comment in style, feeling justified' --- are blind. Can't they…
but what is the purpose of such a scenario and such a story? Promoting such sick behavior in films should not take place... and it doesn't matter whether you have the choice to watch it... it's about the fact itself... the more violence is shown, the more young people who are fascinated by such stories these days they get used to such behavior... and then they are surprised that there is more and more brutality in societies... if young people are brought up on such films, it is no wonder... goodness, as you can see, is not in fashion, but violence is definitely ...
