It was 12 episodes, it was originally supposed to end June 6 before the earthquake. So maybe they are doubling up (two eps) on that date. Or they could just be holding the fanmeet on that day but will officially end June 13.

It probably is contractual. However they are reducing the number of episodes back to 10 for most of their upcoming BLs. So hopefully that will help the writing and pacing somewhat.

My guess is that Whale Store needs more time in post-production. MOR and MMP both just finished filming this week, so they arent ready yet either. Sometimes they edit the show while filming and other times they dont, it just depends.

The Heart Killers had a clear plot. Where it suffered was execution.

Red flag? Kit is just a naive teenage boy. He really hasn’t done anything bad for you to be this dramatic. Kids mature at different rates, they’re helping each other be better.

Their teenagers with crushes, you don’t need to be in love to kiss. lol

I actually don’t mind this. It’s cute and age appropriate. The teens look and act like teenagers. It’s not groundbreaking but you get exactly what you came for.

Would you rather no series at all? I think 10 eps is fine as long as it’s good quality. That’s the most important thing not number of episodes.

This has a higher production value than a lot of school BLs and the teens look like teens. So it somehow looks fresh. It’s probably not going to be revolutionary and very cliche but a good Sunday stress reliever. So I’ll stay tuned. Chokun and Aston are so damn cute.

Gmmtv sold streaming rights to IQIYI and Gagaoolala, so depending on your country it might be geo blocked.
The reason they are doing it is because they make money selling their series to streaming services rather than just putting it on YouTube for free. It sucks for ppl who don’t want or can’t subscribe to streaming service but Gmmtv are a business at the end of the day. So it is what it is.

They have made 8-10 eps series before, it varies depending on the story. So we’ll just have to wait and see. I still think 16 eps would be too much unless they are significantly adding more to the story but I doubt it.

I don’t think the novel supports 16 episodes. It’s only one case and it’s not a complex one, in fact it was obvious who the killer was after the second death. They didn’t even add in a surprising death or twist to throw you off the scent. The slow burn romance is underdeveloped too which was a disappointment for me. I think the rumored 10 episodes are fine and they could honestly go lower to 8 episodes and it would still be ok for this type of story.

Other Gmmtv shows have had no sponsors before. And we don’t know why this show didnt get it but Gmmtv is large enough to support a low budget for a series like this.

June said Whale Store should air around the time of Blush Blossom fanfest. So maybe it will come after Sweet Tooth Good Dentist on Friday.

That honestly could be the reason it’s Thursday not Saturday. The Next Prince is highly anticipated.

Dunk's role as Style was not sub at all. He was the one pursuing Joong/Fadel and initiated their intimate scenes. You are getting sub/dom confused with top/bottom, they are two different things and not mutually exclusive. If anything, Style and Fadel were verse (switch) in THK anyways.
And they will be playing totally different characters in Dare You to Death.

Peaceful Property and Only Friends to a smaller extent did show they have more potential. I think what they need is a meatier storyline. Maybe Melody of Secrets will be good for them. (Even though it seems like they’re still playing the same archetypes) but we can hope.
