They have made 8-10 eps series before, it varies depending on the story. So we’ll just have to wait and see. I still think 16 eps would be too much unless they are significantly adding more to the story but I doubt it.
I don’t think the novel supports 16 episodes. It’s only one case and it’s not a complex one, in fact it was obvious who the killer was after the second death. They didn’t even add in a surprising death or twist to throw you off the scent. The slow burn romance is underdeveloped too which was a disappointment for me. I think the rumored 10 episodes are fine and they could honestly go lower to 8 episodes and it would still be ok for this type of story.
It's a low budget production and there are no sponsers.
Other Gmmtv shows have had no sponsors before. And we don’t know why this show didnt get it but Gmmtv is large enough to support a low budget for a series like this.
In my opinion positions and characters are two different things. Till Hidden Agenda they used the Joong dom (what…
Dunk's role as Style was not sub at all. He was the one pursuing Joong/Fadel and initiated their intimate scenes. You are getting sub/dom confused with top/bottom, they are two different things and not mutually exclusive. If anything, Style and Fadel were verse (switch) in THK anyways. And they will be playing totally different characters in Dare You to Death.
I have the feeling that Force and Book are only capable of playing the same character in all their series. Force…
Peaceful Property and Only Friends to a smaller extent did show they have more potential. I think what they need is a meatier storyline. Maybe Melody of Secrets will be good for them. (Even though it seems like they’re still playing the same archetypes) but we can hope.
Listen I knew exactly what this was going into it. A basic university bl but that’s fine. All the couples were sweet and it was a nice show to relax and unwind with at the end of the workweek. As for how I rank the couples
1) YothaGun- thanks for introducing me to PerthSanta. Great chemistry and acting and they had the most engaging/dramatic storyline.
2) FaifaWine- they were sweet. Although I mostly watched for the Faifa character to get his happy ending.
3) ArcArm- they were cute but the story was forgettable.

I think they are capable of playing different characters but either they are only being offered the same roles by Gmmtv or choosing to play it safe. I didn’t think they were bad in this, they were fine for the most part , just had the most forgettable storyline.
Ohm in today's GMMTV Live House said that the show has started their workshops and is about to start filming soon!!!…
I don’t see how that’s possible when the director is filming Revamp and then Head 2 Head. Be cautious of what the actors say. ‘Soon’ can mean several months away. lol
I speculate they'll start shooting after AouBoom are done with MoR and after MGB ends, in order to allow JossGawin…
I wouldn’t be surprised if they start filming before then, they probably already started workshops for this. AouBoom only have a supporting role in MoR. And a final ep fanmeet doenst require that much prep.
If the director is as you said, then I feel this production is going to be in trouble. Unless they get a god level…
PondpHuwin have the choice to do what they want at this point. They both have some heavier solo work this year. So They probably just wanted to do something lighter together that was different from the average school bl.
Grateful? Why? I mean they can easily make atleast one good budget show but they don’t bcz bl fans doesn’t…
That's not true. GMMTV have plenty of non bl shows with average or low production quality. Every show is a case by case basis, the budget will vary depending on things like genre, cast/crew members, locations, number of episodes etc Sponsors are also a huge factor.
Special effects works for some series and others not so much, it depends on who doing the editing for the series.…
I think it depends on budget, sponsors etc. the Gifted and Midnight Museum both had sponsors while MGB does not. They likely had a lower budget because of that and just did whatever they could afford. Maybe Revamp will have better luck with sponsors.
And they will be playing totally different characters in Dare You to Death.
