Listen I knew exactly what this was going into it. A basic university bl but that’s fine. All the couples were sweet and it was a nice show to relax and unwind with at the end of the workweek. As for how I rank the couples

1) YothaGun- thanks for introducing me to PerthSanta. Great chemistry and acting and they had the most engaging/dramatic storyline.

2) FaifaWine- they were sweet. Although I mostly watched for the Faifa character to get his happy ending.

3) ArcArm- they were cute but the story was forgettable.

I think they are capable of playing different characters but either they are only being offered the same roles by Gmmtv or choosing to play it safe. I didn’t think they were bad in this, they were fine for the most part , just had the most forgettable storyline.

The reason given was Scheduling conflicts.

I don’t see how that’s possible when the director is filming Revamp and then Head 2 Head. Be cautious of what the actors say. ‘Soon’ can mean several months away. lol

I wouldn’t be surprised if they start filming before then, they probably already started workshops for this. AouBoom only have a supporting role in MoR. And a final ep fanmeet doenst require that much prep.

PondpHuwin have the choice to do what they want at this point. They both have some heavier solo work this year. So They probably just wanted to do something lighter together that was different from the average school bl.

That's not true. GMMTV have plenty of non bl shows with average or low production quality. Every show is a case by case basis, the budget will vary depending on things like genre, cast/crew members, locations, number of episodes etc Sponsors are also a huge factor.

I think it depends on budget, sponsors etc. the Gifted and Midnight Museum both had sponsors while MGB does not. They likely had a lower budget because of that and just did whatever they could afford. Maybe Revamp will have better luck with sponsors.

MondRyu will be busy filming That Summer. They had to quickly cast a pair that was available and suitable for the roles. So it is what it is.

They both got recast. :(

They did not lose fans. In fact they gained fans from THK.

There are no green flags in only Friends.

I’m leaning towards only one of them is being recast like what happened with Perthchimon in Perfect10Liners but who knows.

It seems like Leng might be still on board with this show. So maybe Ohm’s part is the only one that’s being recast.

New is the director (Perfect 10 Liners, We Are) and he's never done this genre before. Boun is co-writing a script for the first time. That could be a good or bad thing. Im keeping my expectations low.

They might be getting overshadowed by their company but they still have loyal fanbases that have been with them for over 5 years. So i wouldnt worry about them. Some of these newer ships just make one series and then split up.

Yes Gawin lost weight for the role.

JossGawin is also a new couple. GreatInn and SeaKeen were also new and their shows aired on Sat/Sun. So I don’t think it’s about the couple itself, they like airing gl/BLs at the end of the week. That’s when they get the biggest audience and engagement.

They seem to just be just experimenting more with what shows to air during the weekdays (imo)

It’s Gmmtv decision nobody knows why. Yes Friday is usually their prime slot but sometimes it just depends on when shows are ready to air. The Heart Killers was also a heavily anticipated show and they aired on Wednesday as well. It could be that they’re aiming for more engagement during mid-week not just the weekend.
