Am I the only one who after a point and on wanted to slap Do Jin Suk?
That sl^t messed them all up and she managed to escape unharmed. And in the end she said casually while the others were all in jail that she couldn't go back to the organization because the organization had structural problems.... lol
The point that I literally wanted to punch her was when she said to Yoo Je Yi that she knew that she was worthy when she found her outside of her house with a gun in her hand. In other words she told to Yoo Je Yi that she took her seriously only after Yoo Je Yi was able to figure out her divide and rule tactics. She didn't give a sh*t for the rest of them as long as she was able to manipulate them by spreading doubt and misinformation in order to push her own agenda...

Partly IMHO. Because he was the overseas director and passed orders and (mis) information to the agents and he wanted to kill Ji Hyuk at some point but later on he changed his mind after the assassination of Seo Soo Yeon that he liked and the attempt to assassin him by hacking his car. I assume that that was the point that he realized that they would get rid of him too and changed side. ( or his mind in order to prevent the worst).

None of them was completely innocent and none of them initially wanted to help Ji Hyuk because they all had some sh*t to hide. Some were involved with the politicians, others with the Mafia, others were conspiring for the leadership of the agency, that piece of sh*t Do Jin Suk knew that Baek Mo Sa was out killing and she was playing the ignorant and before after and in between the black agents were sent to missions without direction. Actually each and every director sabotaged - in purpose or as a consequence of his of her actions - the agents of the others.

There is a huge factual error on one scene where the cop describes the chromosomes of males and females. Chromosomes have nothing to do with hormone intake with the purpose to change from one sex to the other. They can't be altered because they are genetically predetermined. So it is impossible to detect a transgender person from its chromosomes. The test will detect only its biological gender and not if this person is in transition or has already changed sex. People who change sex retain the X and Y chromosomes they were born with.

Of course there are some persons who don't have chromosomes that match with one or the other sex, but this again doesn't indicate that they are gay or they are transgender. The only thing affected by such alterations on X and Y chromosomes is the appearance of the person who has them. In such case the person can be a more effeminate straight man or a somewhat manly but otherwise straight woman.

Also homosexuality doesn't really has that much to do with sex changes. People who have already change sex, a man f.e that wants to change to a woman or the opposite, end up being straight and not gay on regard of their sexual preferences. And that is the reason why they change sex after all.

Baek Mo Sa didn't make that phone call himself. He told him about the phone call that the killed partner ( whatever his name was) received from his wife to tell him about their newborn baby.
It was actually a sarcastic insinuation towards Ji Hyuk in order to point out Ju Hyuk's double standards and that the black agents were those who paid the biggest price as the pawns of the leading officers of the agency who didn't give a sh&t about them. Like they didn't have any other sort of private life.
Baek Mo Sa actually told him that the partner that he killed for no particular reason, (just out of suspicion or misinformation that was spread from their own agency), was at the end of they day the father of a child, exactly as Baek Mo Sa was the father of Je Yi . There was no difference after all, between Baek Mo Sa and the dead partner. They were both colleagues in the same agency and they were both parents and had someone to leave behind, but Ji Hyuk cared about the life of Je Yi but didn't care about the life of the baby child of the other partner that he killed.

It had a very good story because it wasn't just about the good guys and the bad guys but about people who each and every one of them had its own motives, aims and morality. And that is what makes it completely different from other dramas of this particular genre.
Anyway.. if it didn't work for you it just didn't.

I've just replied to your comment because a lot of people asked again on the comments of who was the traitor and culprit something that indicates that they probably didn't watch carefully this drama. The answers were all there, with the condition that the viewer is not skipping scenes. :)

I told you. None and all of them. It wasn't about a single traitor but a malfunctioning organization where no one could trust anyone. There was no cooperation and each and everyone served its own agenda. The nobody trust anyone else e dogma was promoted mostly by Do Jin Suk, - who at the end manage to get out of this mess unharmed and unpunished- ending up making each and everyone who worked in there ready to betray everyone else. The dirty war was taking place inside the secret intelligence organization and that is the reason why it was also so ineffective to deal with outsiders, whatever those were. Mobsters of other spies etc. The biggest victims of this policy were the black agents themselves who ended up either dead, even from their own colleagues, or insane as they had no way to know who was the actual enemy.

Then don't watch Romance dramas.

Then don't watch action/spy thrillers.

I have the notion that you didn't understand what was this drama all about. The majority of the viewers got destructed by the the details and missed the main point . Whichwas that the dirty war started from the inside. They were not the mobs and the Chinese and the N. Koreans the enemy of the NIS. It was its own personnel that each and every one of them worked for his or her own agenda.
A constant struggle for power with pawns the black agents who were consumable with most of them ending up dead with reward some pretentious patriotic anonymous stars at the bs memorial . And those who did survive ended up insane or half insane.
If you rewatch this drama from this point of view you are going to see that everything makes a lot more sense. The plot is not so complicated. The so called villain is not a villain at all, and the true villain gets out of the whole mess unharmed.

Ji Hyuk's informant guy who went to warn him at their hide. The guy that it was killed afterwards at the drug dealer's hotel penthouse.
Ji Hyuk was manipulated actually to kill them because the policy of the NIS was to make them not to trust even their partners. The person that was most responsible for this was Do Jin Suk. We should not forget that she had Baek Mo Sa in her car when Yoo Je Yi was waiting for her outside her house to kill her that rainy night. So the information that someone was a mole in Ji Hyuk team went probably from Do Jin Suk, to Baek Mo Sa, to the informant guy and finally to Ji Hyuk.
It is interesting btw that she was the only one who didn't go to jail for her actions though she was the biggest piece of s#it as she was the one who manipulated them all the most, by spreading misinformation. And in the final episode was the only one who supported the option to sacrifice the hostages in order to save the bank's data system.
Ji Hyuk killed his partners for no particular reason, as none of these two was actually a mole.
That is also the reason why the other agent, the one that was found hanged from the building was trying to get out of the agency because he had realized that the black agents were considered consumable by their own agency.

Baek Mo Sa actions were quite justified at the very end. They were actually the reason why Ji Hyuk plot all this thing to erase his memory in order to get back and find who manipulated them and forced them to kill each other, or made them trying to get out of the agency. And their last dialogue shows that, when Baek Mo Sa told to Ji Hyuk that normally he should have been the one who had to bring down the whole organization and the sub group Samboeng ( or whatever was the name that they gave to their operation of manipulation of the public opinion and the elections) .
Baek Mo Sa wasn't actually a monster. He was the guy who got all the s#it and ended up to look like he was the villain. If he wasn't able to escape from that hellish N. Korean Chinese or whatever jail , with the gore way he did it, he would have been another anonymous star on their pretentious memorial of the dead black agents.
He was the only one who had a somewhat normal behavior. He lost it completely and went back to prove that the heads of the organization served only their own agendas. That was the same Ji Hyuk was supposed to do , but he didn't.

All of them for different reasons. From the heads of the organization that considered the black agents consumable for their own political or power reasons to some of the black agents who wanted to bring down the heads of the organization for the above reasons.
Each and everyone in this damn organization served his or her own agenda so I assume that that is the reason why S, Koreans can't resolve their issues with North Koreans... lol If they have such a NIS .... that's it... they are done! lol

Because this is their personal affair and whatever problems they had in their affair should have been resolved in private and not in public.
But they became public obviously because he is a celebrity. If he was the average Joe Doe, the next door guy she wouldn't have a chance to be backed up by the public for doing all that she did. From making anonymously public their personal affair up to claiming that he manipulated her to have an abortion. All that from a woman that lives in a first world country where abortions are legal and contraception is legal, and premarital affairs and sex are legal etc etc etc. and women have every right written in law books to make their own decisions for themselves and their unborn children.
The only thing that she managed to prove with her accusations is that she has a third world mentality and attitude. Or to say it better, that she used this kind of mentality, the suppressive male's victim, because things didn't go her way. She didn't manage to persuade him to marry her with or without this pregnancy.
I'm living for the day that the so called emancipated women will stop use their ability to produce children as a tool to trap men into forced marriages. If the guy doesn't want you and your children move on. Find someone else that he would like you and your children in order to be a better husband for you and a better father for these children.

How can an emancipated by all means woman from a first world country claim that she is a victim of a forced abortion or manipulated to have one? She did sign to get to the clinic and on top of that passed to him the medical expenses bill.
They had to agree both you know for this to happen.
Nobody can force you to have a legal abortion if you don't want to.
I would have bashed him if he left her pregnant and then disappeared.
But this is not the case. The discussed, they agreed to abort the child, he paid the bill and she signed to get to the clinic.
The rest is their private affair and matter.
And a reminder: Personal love affairs are not a subject of contracts or favors. If you don't like someone and you are not married with this person, you have every right to split with him or her at any given time.
But you have no right to accuse that other person anonymously and with insinuations in public particularly if this person relies on its public image for his income. This is sneaky, inappropriate and illegal too. It is a libelous accusation and that is the reason why MDL removed the article about this case from its first page.
Because he can sue anyone that he is accusing him directly or indirectly for anything anonymously and with insinuations.
He is not even mentioned by name on the accusations of this anonymous "A" ( whatever is the name) woman. He can sue her too and in this case she will have to prove that she was talking about him, that she was indeed pregnant by him, that she aborted his child , that he paid for the bill and whatever else she claimed anonymously in public. Failing to do so would have severe consequences because she has already damaged his reputation and as such his ability to have an income by his job.

I agree that it takes two people to have a baby. But it is her morality the trouble in this case and not his.

He apologized to the unknown "A" for hurting her, not for the things she is accusing him, that are not after all criminal. Abortions are legal in S. Korea and if he paid her the medical costs of the abortion then it becomes more than obvious that they both had agreed to have it.
From this point of view he hasn't done something wrong. On the contrary ....he even support her. They agreed to abort the baby and he paid the medical costs. Why is this HIS own moral misstep... unless someone is against abortions either way.

But on the other hand I consider absurd that his ex girlfriend accused him anonymously for actions that are private and by no means criminal, because abortions are legal in S. Korea, with the obvious intention to destroy his acting career.

What makes it even worst is that she was responsible too. because if she didn't want to get pregnant she would have found a way to avoid it.
If she didn't want to have an abortion she wouldn't have accepted in the first place to get his money and have. But she accepted the option to abort the child because he promised her .... marriage?? That is laughable.

And finally if she really loved him , as she claims, she wouldn't attempt to resolve a private matter in public. And I personally bet that if he wasn't someone already famous she wouldn't bother to mention this on social media.
Her behavior is the classic revenge cancel in public behavior.
