yes his micro expressions improved soo much in this drama! I'm also tired of people comparing him to the antagonists in the drama who have a completely different character and acting style. XZ is meant to be stoic. He's not supposed to overact.

the hate is coming from fandoms of other 95-99 line actors. there's some in particular that I won't name because I know their fans prob lurk here too. basically, Zhu Yu's success made them insecure because it means Linghe's status will rise in the industry.

the credit is based on billing. not screentime.

His company is weak. It's a small company established in 2019. They also don't have the capacity to produce dramas. There's a lot of chinese entertainment companies that can produce dramas.

I am watching the newly released drama and can I just say, one of the reasons POJ's visuals is so good is not just because of the actor's visuals but also the lighting. cdramas have an problem with not knowing how to properly light a scene so they always rely on post-production filters/editing to mask this but unfortunately, it always ends up making the image too flat because they just add a white filter over everything.

POJ has amazinggg lighting/coloring. The yellow/blue contrast is used heavily throughout the drama. I hope more production companies take notice the importance of lighting. You can't just rely on slapping on a filter post-production.

Also I really need Linghe fanbases to edit his scenes with a particular focus on episode 36 because he has REALLY improved in his acting. I am so tired of people taking his earlier work and saying he can't act. This drama proves he can act and he improves with every project. XZ is not an easy role to portray at all because he has very few dialogues and has to rely on his eyes a lot to portray emotions. Especially in the first 10 episodes when he's injured. Then when he returns as YZ, he has to be more ruthless. Also, he is soo good at portraying yearning towards CY like episode 36 when he's kneeling before the grave and also the scene when he's being nursed to health omg I really ship them! and it's because of the acting because god knows the two actor's fanbase fight like crazy outside the drama lol

I am seeing too many posts about his visuals so I hope Linghe fanbases focus on promoting his acting too

POJ is on track to achieve 70 million + views. idk if you guys understand how insane this is but for reference, last year, the most viewed drama was that modern drama from ZLS which had 60 million + views. Keep in mind that POJ was unfortunately leaked ahead of time because without that leak, it would've been on track for 85 million + views

It's so much worse on chinese forums like douban, weibo, etc. So many fandoms are gathering to drag him down.

I think the confession scene in episode 36 after XZ gets beaten is my fave scene of the entire drama. I feel like most of the time main CP are kind of lovey dovey but there's not much angst but I really like when they're angsty lol like when he proposes to her in eps 20 something and now in episode 36 when he kneels before his parent's tomb. Linghe is veryyy good in this scene.

lol I absolutely hate white hair man. he's disgusting and it's bizarre people keep trying to excuse his actions. I just feel bad for qq

So far, there's only Ci Tang (costume drama) rumored for Q3 filming. RTG finishes filming early May so I think he'll fit a modern drama in between. He rarely takes long breaks.

I don't think it's her. She only takes on projects where she gets first billing. Linghe wants first billing too. It'd prob be someone less famous.

I watched all 40 episodes. All I can say is eps 38.. amazingg omg I feel like that's the most explicit love scene I've seen in a cdrama in ages..

imo Bloody Romance is good but that drama is kind of low budget. Hope he proves himself with Overdo. TPG problem was more with the script imo

He has another costume drama lined up (Qi Tang) that's also kind of political/scheming ish plot. But I agree, he really suits that kind of character.

one thing that's good about Linghe is that he doesn't really repeat similar roles/dramas. Like there's some actors that are type cast.
