kdramas rank on this easily since kdramas are marketed overseas more. cdramas are still a niche market

because honestly the show did a poor job of showing his "strengths" after he returned as XZ. I love the YZ arc because he showed his badass ways occasionally but since returning as XZ, his screentime averages about 5 min per episode and his battle scenes are like blink and you miss it lol

ok so I did some research and apparently all the battle scenes were shot by the co-director. ZQJ doesn't handle those scenes. No wonder the battle scenes look so.. low quality compared to the rest lol

think it's basically hinted yeah but I'm gonna ignore it because I think it's too mary sue to have every guy like FL

honestly this middle section is kind of dragging. I think it's because the battle scenes are kind of low budget so it kind of doesn't look as high risk as it should feel..

nah. the side characters are all less present in the novel. but since this is a 40 eps drama, they added stuff

also I feel like I'm just not the audience for the two psycho brothers. in comparison, I really like Gong. He's a funny side character and even his romance with the princess is a healthy relationship.

but ofc I like XZ/YZ the most. even if he has about 10 min of screen time total in the past 4 episodes lol I do kind of miss angelic long hair YZ tho the ponytail takes a bit getting used to

also the younger brother of white hair man really needs to tone down his "villain acting". when he was getting taken away during episode 23, his villainous laugh reminded me of barty crouch during goblet of fire lmao

also their father is worst father of the year because how do you birth two psychopaths. I wanna see what he looks like

the CGI on the flood made me LOL so much

I remember antis said this was S+ budget but watching these episodes, I can confirm this drama is definitely not S+ budget lol

also you can tell the budget is small because the dialogue keeps saying they have an army of thousands but then the camera pans out and there's like at most 50 horses lmaoo

he dies at the end. he has no redemption lol

honestly it's just for visual purposes lol this is not a historically accurate drama.
