tbh the argument feels awkward because XZ/YZ's character is a lot nicer in the drama than the novel. In the novel, he's a straight up asshole to the point that I don't get why FL would like him. so their fight/breakup/him forcing himself on her makes more sense in the novel because he'd do something like that lol

tbh the plot is kind of slow and I'm not usually into political plots but I'm kind of distracted by the pretty faces lol the director keeps shooting close ups of the numerous hot actors and it's distracting. even the older guys are hot lol

Yes! The "CP" fans of this drama is not normal lol they have some bizarre resentment towards linghe even though linghe has nothing to do with their drama and they keep comparing everything their CP does to linghe and ZJY (his lancome co-model) which is even more bizarre.

anyways, I think linghe's team knows by now which is why they put out the notice of lawsuit and specifically named her fans. I don't think we'll see anymore interactions between linghe and her anymore, which is good.

speaking of her, it's been really annoying how much Linghe has been used to market her new drama. I've never seen this kind of marketing before lol when linghe's dramas air, he never drags unrelated parties onto weibo hot searches. over the past 2 months, linghe keeps being connected to her and her costar and it's getting so tiring.

lol I'm not even going to reply to that comment down there but I hate how foreign fans like to bring stuff from weibo with no background context. I keep seeing twitter users talk about linghe's fandom being awful but honestly, they don't understand the context at all. C-walnuts are overprotective because linghe used to get sooo much hate from larger fandoms when he was less famous. Now that he has fans, they're just fighting back against the people who used to attack him.

for example, the billing issue. linghe only debuted 5 years ago. it's understandable that he didn't get top billing for his earlier work but back then on Chinese forums, the fans of some of his female costars (like BL, ZJM, YSX etc) would mock him and call him 赘婿, which is a mocking term to degrade him. All because he agreed to be 2nd billing as a newbie. So don't tell c-walnuts to not ask for good treatment for Linghe because no one ever stood up for him when he had no fans.

I've followed Linghe since Cang Lan Jue so I know all the hate he's gone through over the years.

it's for the role. he tends to lose weight for historical dramas. their costumes are very thick so a lot of actors like to lose weight to look thinner onscreen.

it got the broadcast license a few weeks ago iirc but I think it's still too early to broadcast. it'll prob air in Fall at the earliest.

I'm actually surprised! anyone that follows Linghe knows that he actually rarely does much drama promotions before a show airs. The last time he went on Hi6 for promotions was for MJTY & TPR and both of those were after the drama aired.

I hope this dispels the nonsense rumors about the two leads not getting along! I'm excited to see pics!
