It's just a matter of detail. Small screen and lower resolution has less detal, so it "blends" together…
I thought of this logic but its quite the opposite - the better quality, the cgi looks better '-' weird, isn't it? what if I tell you the flying isn't greenscreen? 😂 its actually similar to that used in superman https://x.com/yangyangbr/status/1949990349180477904 my guess is they don't quite know how to deal with this technology thus why it looked so fake
I’m really enjoying the show but, let’s be fair, CGI isn’t the best here. Maybe they did it on purpose but…
true. some look better than others. specially the ones in day light, they doesn't have a good integration with the real life scenario. but here is the thing - even these, they look way better in some devices and video quality. I'm wondering, the first reviews of people that watched it on imax praised the cgi a lot, so I'm wondering if they took too much time thinking of higher resolutions and it hurt somehow the outcome for lower quality videos and devices.
chinese dramas usually are dubbed. you get used to it.
oh I don't mean it as offence, its not weird for people to get confused about it. I checked youtube and netflix, I can't hear any echo. could it be your device or the quality where you are watching?

the more expensive the drama, the better the dubbing. older dramas used to be worse too. from your watch list, I can't find one that wasn't dubbed haha
