yup, media presence is very telling of a drama success, and poj really lacks it. no memes, no viral scenes, makeup fans are not trying to copy looks, hanfu fans barely discussed the koreans claims. I mostly use my accounts to follow my favs, so I don't see much of niche stuff, but when a drama is successfull, I get tired of blocking things about it lol not something that is hapenning with poj, the only posts showing up to me are discussions about the alleged fraud, I have to actively look up for discussions are the drama itself

I've been following the issue on chinese social media and the article is accurate, the general consensus is that the numbers are a fraud. what you guys seems to not understand is that these numbers would make this drama one of the most successfull of the last years, on par with dramas like "this thriving land" and "the knockout".
