I guess that they keep it for dramas with huge backlash because it reflects the audience response, which is different from childish fans and bots

as far as I know, production company just get the money to produce it and the money from distribution rights. the distribution company gets the money from ads, vip members and such. thus it wouldnt make sense for daylight to pay for bots to increase the ratings, they already got their money. and if youku wanted to fake anything, they could've faked their own heat. instead, fans were claiming youku was supressing the heat to make fans spend more to increase it.
daylight is known for its high quality productions, they dont do much marketing, they rely on word of mouth.
yy is also an actor known for not paying for marketing.

there is a rumor filming starts next month, but there is also a rumor yy will film a movie or drama with director yy before this

there is no need for an actor to be big to play a warrior, but the acting plus the directing should make it convincing

yes, being skinny or strong doesn't mean they will be better or worse. but either way, the fight scene should be adapted to make it believable. if the actor is too big but the character should be fast, how do you make it seems like the actor is faster than he is? if the actor is skinny but he should win everybody, how do you make it believable he is able to beat someone bigger? it wasn't well done

again, I hate the loud music trying to force me into feeling it instead of it being the entirety of the production. adding the dramatic zoom in and slow mo, its the recipe of vertical and mini dramas that I avoid.
the excessive filter and saturated colors hurt my eyes, its very wildering (? I'm not sure this is the world I look for)
the story is cliché and boring. I still dont believe fl is specially smart or strong, like some of the characters want us to believe.
the lines are so childish, its like a fanfic.
the acting for every actor is weak, which I'm blaming the director for.
I also don't believe zhou yiran is a strong warrior for one second. not only is he small, his fight scenes are too much posing and his strikes always look weak. again, probably the director's fault.

if you want a drama that uses pretty and dramatic shots with purpose, and is also a reborn-for-revenge story, go for the double, that is a proper good drama
