this is a 10-years old drama. you have to watch it with this in mind. there are many outdated parts of it and it has a young target audience, so you might not fully enjoy it. still, you might understand why this was such a big deal at the time.
this was an instantaneous classic, and a very influential. this drama is one of the reasons your favorite actors are acting in sweet urban romances, why there is even an idol drama type of drama,, why your fav is called a liuliang, etc.
start it with this in mind and you will enjoy the ride much better
