I do think her beating him is wrong, but you're finding lame excuses for him. Qin Shi told their dad he's a cheater and he didn't deny, he actually seemed to assume it. Even if it was a misunderstanding, drinking and partying with a bunch of girls is pretty disrespectful, specially knowing his wife would feel hurt and insecure.
