and, can someone tell me why xingyun tried to stop shenli from leaving in mortal realm? is it due to his divination ability in mortal realm? im currently only ep8 so maybe it was explained in later ep but im just curious and i doubt it's due to him having feelings for her.

honestly with the accurate translation, i do not find this demand so bad as i see it as her really want a conversation, a closure kind of type with hyeri (even when hyeri doesnt owe her that). my heart actually feel her desperate attempt and goes for her because she must have been so affected during this so i guess she probably wanna see both sides.

but she seriously dig herself again when she said she cant understand why hyeri find it funny about her ex finding new girlfriend. like i get it she is hurt but hyeri apology already clarify it was for her ex and it was not even a year after they broke up so it was quite understandable, call her bitter ex whatsoever but it was only directed at him, not her.

BJT won an award today, this was him in 2021 wishing to play in costume drama and all his costume drama afterwards are all a hit. so proud to see his journey 💗 wishing him success in first frost too, it took bai jingting years to be recognised and he did it all with excellent acting!

i never watch those, tbf i tried but there are some dramas we knew from first ep it's not gonna be good either bc it's cringe/bad production/poorly written and both drama of hers that you mentioned gave me those feelings so i just drop it. (cringe is good for those who like it but i detest cringe romance or writing)

2) the end of endless love (written by guo jingming (director of my journey to you), this movie could be written better but it seriously has so much potential and despite all that it lacks, i still cried) - i badly wish this was remake into drama version bc the plot has so much potential to make it as one of the best angst i have seen.

you should try watching be yourself or her movies, have you tried and still not like it? her arc in be yourself is really sad and if you havent you should watch one of her movies bc her roles are kind of "sad" driven and imo she potray those roles well. well, if you have and still not feeling it then ig her acting is just not to yr liking.
