they first met in 2004, part ways in 2007, reunion in 2013, shared house in 2014, get together in 2015. idk hidden love timeline but sang zhi first met yifan when she was still a child, she met yifan again when she studied for college entrance and during her visit to their shared house, she had conversation with yifan about going to study to yihe, when sang yan hit jiaxu after knowing he was sang zhi's bf, sang yan was already together with yifan

definitely not both, im a "whatever that comes" kind of person, if it bad it's bad if good then good and even if things didnt turn out the way i expected i block the feeling of regret, im more like avoidant attachment style in term of this aspect but my friends said im a laidback type.

but i do know that i tend to get annoyed at stuff that most people simply dont care ig? but when it comes to things that most people complain about (in term of character behaviours) i dont share the same annoyance bc they just simply dont make me angry as much as they make others eventho i might not like the behaviour. the most i can remember is fl character in long ballad, many seems not liking her characters but contrary to others, i like her character a lot and she never make me angry, in fact she is one of my fav fl.

besides the point, how can one not get angry seeing the father doing that to their son who he never visit, never raised for years? im not expecting a warm or touching welcome/hug but to keep him waiting? i just simply dont get it.

im on ep5 and in the beginning when kid fan xian was shown i dont really like his character but later i came to adore him and i thought the first 3 ep was great, i was intrigued. but it start to annoy me when fan xian met with his father, it just annoys me that the father continue to do his work while letting fan xian stand there, like what's the purpose? sure he might not have familial affection or he might does but seriously what is the purpose of doing that? to get a reaction out of him? to analyse his character?

i wish fan xian would not continue standing, sure he shows he doesnt care, but why should he continue giving respect waiting to be acknowledge like that? what i want to see is basically him sitting either on the floor or any nearest chair or take a stroll in his father room while his father doing wtv he was doing. that's also not caring while also not giving the respect he was not given.

my another pet peeves is when drama make character said something for suspense purpose. teng zijing wish earnestly for fan xian to help him but he firmly said no like twice and while i'm watching this i was chanting he better not said "but i will help you if [insert condition]", and then he did. im sorry why not tell just tell him that from the start? i understand the first rejection but the following firm rejection only for him to say he will help is annoying. i would like to think that he really do not want to help and became soft but it doesnt feel like that from the scene.

i'm originally not a patient person so it annoys me when people going around instead of going straight to the point. i wanna continue watching but it's one thing to not like the character's action, but it's another thing to be annoyed by it. there are stuffs where i dont like mc/ml actions but im not bothered by it so i can just ignore it, but if the mc/ml little action start to make me angry and annoyed i cant enjoy the drama

hahha yeah i wish to get the kind of heedo yurim trope in other drama somedays, i dont think we see it often among kdrama at least, so it would be good to have a love story centred around this kind of trope imo and im fine with it being hetero or homo relationship (though the later is less likely in kdrama)

me personally i love him from the get go, that's why his character in first frost is superior to me. even with his aloofness and arrogance he is so funny and entertaining. i really love his character, definitely among my top3 fiction male lead in chinese novel, aloof and arrogant but warmth and loyal; this is quite typical traits but there is something in the way sang yan is written that make him extra special to me.

i'm actually a believer that what he shown with his family is not so far with others but since hidden love is from sang zhi pov his aloofness are not much evident.

alright, let's have discussion about sang yan personality because i see some discourse on twitter (yes it's twitter!!)

some says sang yan personality is different because of differenf pov which is true but i think the closest to his personality would be his character in first frost, no? because even from his friends description about him in first frost seems like he is really this "cold" annoying unbothered guy so i wouldnt just conclude this side of him is only exclusive to yifan only.

same, people are not perfect like they do some bad annoying negative shit and suddenly they are red flag, every little negative things is red flag these days it piss me off so much seeing the label being thrown like that.

maybe im generalising but all of our actions consist of red and green flag, more precisely we are grey. some ppl truly has red flag behaviors but things like dj behavior personally is not what i consider a red flag. i mean tbf, if it was dongjin chasing after dahye and dahye not wanting to get back, wouldnt ppl say he is a red flag too?

havent start watching and idk if i will but i saw clips and the way ppl acting like dongjin is bad...i mean sure idk the details but if it were women who is done with the men, and tired of him always want to get back, wouldnt yall find the men annoying too? in their situatiom their gender is reversed. i think we can feel bad for dahye without making dongjin into this red flag guy. god knows i myself wouldnt have that patience

it's quite common in china tho, esp bc this is from novel adaptation, so the og character is the novel character. plus this is under different production, eg bai lu and ao ruipeng will be playing yuemi and tianqi (from ancient love poetry drama) in moonlight mystique

i mean ngl why she had bangs 😭 i lowkey wish her hair was a bit brownish too but i dont remember if her hair was ever described in the novel. also adam apple, that's not smth that can be helped 😟

it's actually quite common for a solid actor (reputation etc) to say no to lead roles if they think the script doesnt suitable or they are not free but i really doubt it in VM case. i wouldnt say he's a new actor but he doesnt have lots of acting project so i dont see why he would say no, esp if he got to reprise his characters

hence, him never being offered just make more sense and the fact that his name was never among rumored first frost cast is kind of telling about never being offered to me. and ofc since this is a different production hence it is more less likely to keep same cast. plus bai jingting is a views attractor, his past dramas has always done really well in term of rating. his work is loved by general public and he is definitely recognised as good actor among passerby so it was smart move casting him.

me personally i think heedo yijin are cute but im not obsessed? like it smth i find cute and forgot about it the next day.

and yes heedo & yurim are best friend but they really had good chemistry to me. im seriously not one of those who always want to ship friends bc they are the same gender and look fruity (eg weak hero 1, i genuinely see them as friends but ppl ship the two ml alot) but in 2521 i'm really feeling heedo and yurim chemistry, like the trope of fans to enemy to lovers to later rivals but still lovers. it just such an excellent trope to me

i hate adult namiki and this is why i do not find the show romantic because his cheating ass piss me off

it's interesting to know his character is supposed not to be scary, but what his character supposed to represent then? crazy? even that idt i like his potrayal. for me there is no memorable moment at all.

the cute innocent guy act is common to see esp in kdrama where anyone is possible to be evil, and what i mean by common is his potrayal of innocent role is nothing special and neither when he switch to his psychopath mode. the last time i actually enjoy his performance is in cinderella stepsisters and that was like many years ago when he too is still very much young.

those awards were in 2012/2013, he is quite loved at that time but those drama and awards are the beginning of his stardom. it was not his recent works, it was not his works after he became insanely popular since dots. also baeksang award is a prestige award show.

idk why people are upset about the ending, it is sad and bittersweet but it is very fitting? they are cute tho but seriously heedo yurim has way more chemistry i was robbed 😭

one of the best chemistry in kdrama and it just baffle me that some people doesnt it see that way. for me, they are each other best chemistry, all their kissing scenes just felt very natural and very romantic, love it!

ml character are just not impactful the way original did also chemistry felt off and no memorable ost besides the time travel songs, it just simply doesnt hit. besides the point it was an okay remake imo but nothing memorable to me

he is popular bc of his acting ability eventho it doesnt resonate with you. i mean bfr, before his hate train last year he has always been praised as good actor, a werewolf boy and the innocent man are one of his early recognition as an actor to which he won best actor for the later.

oh im not sjk avid fans btw, i just like him as an actor. from all shows of his that i have watched, there is only one show that i dislike his performance, that is reborn rich. idc that people praise him there, his potrayal as the character doesnt convince me and neither was it impactful. havent watch this one to judge but i will comeback later to agree or not.
