the first four ep was so great i already like her with the two leads (deng wei & tan jianci) and i rarely get so angry at a character eventho they are annoying/evil but the princess anger me so much i even scream lol such a spoiled child no one ask you to be there you choose to be at these lowly places and acting all spoiled ugh i wanna smack smth on her face (the character bc i love the actress)

zhang wanyi was great in the bond and it was a good family drama too!! just like go ahead type but different

tbh i might change ship as the ep goes on bc i know who is the endgame but zhang wanyi is my main reason watching this (+yang zi and amazing trailer) and cx character seems so pitiful so far so im rooting him as for now 😭

this is definitely the problem when too many persons involved 😂 hanye emotional feelings when he put hairpin on fake dzy and look back when he was about to leave was well delivered imo

yup and it's not like the actors cant do that bc in some scene we can see anning crying and i have seen gj perf in the past and anle too seems still soft sometimes so this def feels like a directing problem to me bc if they focus on it maybe viewers will get more invested. i actually thought ep18 was great in term of the emotional delivery (if i get the ep right where anle did the sword dance)

ep23 trailer seems so interesting i like that we seems to get more action about the revenge

if i must be honest i dont like the writing and directing in the last 3 ep it feels like a mess and the revelation felt so underwhelming 😭😭😭 i guess i expect more but i cant wait for the day fake di cheng'en to know ren anle is the real di ziyuan
