i for one is in both team like idc whoever she end up with will be fine with me i just cant stand viewers who cannot see things from deoksun side bc the moment a man do that to me my feelings for him would disappear in an instant. junghwan IS sweet but to deoksun eyes he is this mean scowl guy but a nice person

if ppl watch carefully there are clear moment where deoksun start feeling different towards taek (the field where they play football and dongryong suddenly bleeding) and she clearly was quite anticipating the movie date...it's all the little moments that ppl dont wanna see

for anyone who has read both first frost and hidden love novel (i have only read first frost) is sangyan character really that chaotic in the novel? also if i remember he is described as handsome guy in first frost so why does in ep1 when sangzhi said he boasted about ppl coming to him his friends laugh and kind of imply he is not handsome?

i read first frost for like a year ago i think, my memory is a bit hazy but i just wanna know if sangyan is really like that in hidden love novel bc i imagine his character to be a bit different due to me being introduced to him in first frost first.

p/s the leads are dating irl. they never confirm it but paparazzi has seen them going each other house w his parents and it's definitely not pr imo bc they both has been in the industry so long and always keep low profile about it so another thing to enjoy from this show imo 🤭

if you dont like it, im sorry 😭😭 you might not like ep1 but it starts really really good on ep3 imo

idk about you but first ep was really great for me and i am expecting not to love the show but i still start watching bc i love junho's acting...there really was nothing in first ep for me..but ep2 was a letdown indeed it was lacking after the good solid ep1 for me

if you watch cdrama, i recommend the newly aired show: destined. it is the best watch for me among all drama im watching rn (king the land, see you in my 19th life)

i love how they influence each other. jiu si influence her to think more about herself, that women are just more than doing things for others and relying on the husband hence she start looking for interest and studying account. yunru influence jiu si in his studies. he might not like it but he slowly studying and improving.

i love ep 3 my heart breaks for yuru and it was a bit funny seeing jiu si at the side keep talking i was torn between feeling sad and funny at the same time. i just gotta say song yi really look so pretty while crying and i give this ep to her it was really heartbreaking moment bc she already accept her fate and ready to embrace him in his life but he had another plan.

all in all jiu si antic made me laugh out a loud and im happy that i find a show where it's naturally funny i cant wait to see when they fell in love and i love how understanding jiusi's mom towards yuru 🥺🥺🥺

i dont like how yuru act towards jiu si regarding the fur coat, it was already sold to him in the first place and he even offer her some money (idk if it compares to the fur price but it still some money) so i just dont get why she wont accept it when she desperately need one

ig she feel embarassed with his question but i dont think it was that bad (ig it was for her idk) for me it's just so easy to lie (again im projecting sorry) she doesnt have to tell the truth but ig part of it was she already has this prejudiced towards him due to his reputation so she just see everything he did in malice way eventho it's not

at first i hate it too but at one moment they show she grab it by hand so im assuming the remote actually was quite far that it was easier to reach by her leg first and when it gets nearer to her she grab it by her hand...but i truly understand your annoyance regarding that

ep 2 was quite a let down compared to ep1 (my opinion):

things i like:
1) the flight attendant couple? (hopefully! they are cute)
2) sarang friends that work in department store really did as she said about not becoming someone like her senior and i love that. i love that the show is showing us about ppl who break the tradition and how it is bad and do nothing for the work they apply to

things i dislike:
1) the trope of falling into ml arm (it's common ik but still i hate it)
2) when sarang cheers loudly during guwon welcoming party, i hate when writer do characters like that to make them stand out atm among the rest...bc what for? why would she suddenly forgot all the etiquette at that moment? (not saying what she did was improper it just normally one wouldnt really go up and cheers loudly like that at a place among those ppl and i thought her character wouldnt so i feel that was a bit out of character)
3) the comedy in today ep was quite forced imo

just some rants i will still be tuning in to the show next week <333

oh this means i need to rewatch bc i dont remember the ending i just know that it was a happy one and i thoroughly enjoy the comedy

i personally dont want it funny the way business proposal is ik a lot of ppl love it but over the time it gets boring, become over the top and cringe so i wish the comedy doesnt become that way. i like smth like shopping king louis, marriage not dating type

yup and i think the kdrama industry is heavily saturated with these extraordinary plot and complex genre that i just no longer find the premise fascinating.

cdrama also have these complex genre but there are for difference audience that watch it and maybe bc the industry is too big that they produced lots of drama so we had more choices in a this simple type of plot show and they end fast so it doesnt rlly get tired watching tbh 😂

what do i expect from mydramalist reviewer anyway i did not expect to love this...i was prepared not to bc the trailer just seems so cheesy and a forced comedy

so i was pleasantly surprised when i watch it. i feel everything fit perfectly, and it was not a forced comedy so far so i thoroughly enjoy it, i hope i will continue to love the show till the end of the series. im also intrigued by the families background so i need to read the prequel manhwa to understand gu won and sarang background

same!! while it's good that there are different drama but having kdrama that simple and giving old drama vibes is very much smth i loved. it is so tiring and get boring when the genre become so stressed and everything need to be smth new.

a fair comparison i could give is kdrama youth series vs cdrama youth series. kdrama focus a lot on bullying and studying pressure and while it was interesting but when it is produced a lot it just get boring and tiring. While youth cdrama tend to focus on friendship, the student growth, teenage love stories which gives a lot of nostalgic vibes and felt near to one's heart no matter how many times it was told imo. but i do think it's due to the difference of the majority society in korea and china

but honestly would you even watch the original tho? esp let's say the remake is good
