my comment was not about the fiance it was about him. i never said anything about them staying together i just wish the way he get together with yae doesnt involve him cheating. the relationship involves two people he should and can be more firm and all those while since the first ep in the taxi he has never been fair where he cancel meeting her parents, at that time i can understand.

but after that, when he met yae again he even introduce his fiance to yae and when he do that he sincerely seems like he want to continue the relationship and wtv about yae is just past longing and someone he will always cherish but he disappoint me time and time again when he cheat on his fiance emotionally.

i cant remember the details but i remember asking again and again why is he treating yae like that when he has a fiancee. my point is he has plenty of time to break the relationship but he didnt (before that one scene he did) he should be more firm but he never was firm.

i cant even feel for the romance (except their younger character) because adult namiki bothers me a lot im not against his feelings and i definitely understand those who fell for someone else while being in relationship but at the same time i believe they should end the relationship when they are aware of the feelings and not stay being agonised or feeling bad for their partner while cheating on them at the same time, that's just plain worse.

kyoya seems to kiss women better than men still love him tho but i do hope he can work more on that or just not have kiss scene at all

finished it a month ago i think and while i love the romance between young leads but the adult version? not so much. could it be this show is so well loved because of the iconic ost? that is one of the thought that crossed my mind

i'm gonna be honest the show was not bad but i was surprised that no one really mention about him cheating and hype namiki being a standard. is it because the woman he cheat with is the fl? because this is their story and we want to see them together? is that the reason why many are not bothered with that fact? because i did. and that is such a big turn off to me. and it is not about the kiss but the multiple events before where he is with the fl while having a fiancee. ofc one can be friend with their ex but it just annoy me bc he still like her and at the same time trying to stay with his fiancee at first.


also can someone give me their insight why yae never try to reach for namiki after she lose her memory? because she know she has a boyfriend she saw the picture i just want to know why didnt she ever try to get to know him to at least regain her memory is it because it is much easier than reaching out to people she no longer remember?

tbh idk if people on mydramalist ever mad at namiki or not but i was referring to tiktok and twitter where ppl hype about namiki being a standard that is why it comes as a shock to me because while i adore his love for yae i just dislike the way he treat his fiance.

i read the review and i guess some watchers couldnt understand why hamin would kill himself just bc of jaemin's words. ig the drama did not explain it well or maybe some ppl just couldnt understand it but the webtoom tackle it better.

all hamin's life what he did is for his brother. he is still staying patient, doing stuff he didnt like, having a pretentious life bc he dont want jaemin to go through such thing. he repeatedly said in the drama as well, 'just let me do it and let jaemin do things he want'. he has been suffocated all his life and surely he want to rebel but he is not doing it bc of jaemin.

jaemin is the sole reason he is withstanding all those sufferings imo from my reading of the webtoon hence when the webtoon show the panel of jaemin saying he wish he didnt have a brother and hamin hearing it i was legit screaming wailing bc i could feel my heart break as i could understand why it could be his last straw. his sole reason for living actually wish he doesnt exist. it must be so painful for him and it doesnt help that he find the sky especially pretty that day. altho it was never canon in the webtoon that hamin get to hear what jaemin said but i do actually believe he heard jaemin's.

agree with minato x sou story being more complex my heart actually breaks more for their story than any of the boys dynamic w tsumugi as well.

both tsumugi love interest share the same flaw of thinking they are doing the best for her w/o asking her opinion first but im glad that she is this strong character who also know her worth

on contrary i really like her chemistry with wulei he dont look much younger than her many ppl around me were surprised to learn about his age and i just prefer their chemistry compared to hers with yang yang

right same!! i cant even visit here often bc im always annoyed with their takes on minato. why must ppl always find reason to hate on supporting character, refuse to see things from their pov and have to immediately label them as a villain when irl these characters are very normal and u dont encounter villain often in yr life (at least my life) so some need to stop feeling the need to hate on side character 😭

istg ppl on mydramalist are different breed the way many ppl on other platform are loving minato but ppl here refusing to even understand or refuse to watch and complaining about his side of story.

in sou life before he lost his hearing we saw two important ppl; tsumugi his girlfriend and minato his bestfriend. it is only fair and normal for us to see the reaction and story for these two ppl in the present as well. most of yall want a quick story where you can hate on character like minato just to see the leads get together when the writer literally dont want that to happen bc they want to show the viewers everyone pov and why they did what they did, their reaction when someone important to them lost their hearing bc these different reaction literally happens irl.

and why is it weird and annoying for some of you that tsumugi really love minato? he was so nice it is only obvious why she would love him for real and that was good of her for not using him as rebound. it was never nice to do that and i swear if the main character was used as a rebound yall will be shitting on the other person for doing that.

i get that ppl want to see more of sou but i believe all these are importants before we really get to see his hardships, his life and maybe in the future when he finally want to learn lip reading (theory is he in denial and dont want to speak to ppl who can hear so he never want to learn lip reading) and how they get back together.

if yall watching the drama only for the main character this one is def not for u bc it is very obvious every single character, supporting or main are important and want to give comfort to viewers who lost their hearing or experience dealing w their loved ones losing their hearing abilities

they say as it was easy for depressive ppl to get out of their depression which is...sad. i hope everyone who agree with op knows how fucked up this mentality is. he could accept wtv help somang was giving and still would thinking of dying. he would feel happy w her and still feeling suffocated when he's alone bc he has felt suffocated his whole life the only reason he holding on for so long and not rebelling was jaemin's.

it was such a selfish thing to say he could try harder but, why would he? ppl always say to depressive ppl to think about ppl they supposed to left but what about the pain they felt? what about the those words in their head and the suffocated feelings and unhappiness they felt? personally i dont believe somang could resolve wtv happening in his family, could change his parents mindset, he definitely made him feel alive but when he go back to his own house he was unhappy once again.

u need to read the webtoon. it was really really good the drama kind of give justice but also kind of not giving the justice to the webtoon.

yup!!! the drama is quite good but the webtoon is definitely better! go read it and prepare your tissues bc it is much much sadder
