this movie could have been a lot of better, it has interesting plot and i believe had it has better execution, acting, directing and script at some part, this movie will be a masterpiece. but despite all that, i still cried few times at some scenes, i truly wish he had leave bc imo that is the only happy ending for both of them even if they cant be together. i wish to see this movie get adapted into drama w a good cast, script and ost bc if it goes into the right hand it will be one of most heartbreaking story. why? bc i think this movie lack many things but it still made me cry and invested at some scene :( i still think it worth the watch tho bc it really is not bad, it just gives you the feels that it could have been better

english is not my native language but i dont understand what makes you cringe about the "patriotic anti-japanese rhetoric". i feel like they merely potray about the people back then during the war.

as a country that has also been colonized by japan and later suffer under chinese communist for a while, we too have a lot of patriotism movie like this to commemorate our country independence, and i dont think it as persuading us to hate on the japanese and the chinese.

i think everyone focus on ming bc if it is true, then it is the plot twist that most people would have missed. that is why it is shocking and catch ppl attention imo.

i too one of the people that thought it was a girl at first but when i saw the hint and start looking at ming as a man, everything else kinda make sense. in the term of him saying 'now you owe me a secret', the song embrace being used in the movie and about the things the father said. that made me understand things i dont really understand when i view ming as a girl and that is why i think ppl so invested in ming story.

bc i miss this show so here i am. still one of my most favourite kdrama in 2021. personally starting last year im no longer into kdrama much, i am still in kdrama slump btw. i dont think all the recent shows is bad, it just not interesting enough to get me engage, i believe those shows are good but i dont feel intrigued to continue, it is smth that i can stop watching eventhough i find it interesting.

VINCENZO, i did not plan to watch this drama despite the popularity bc it is not interesting enough for me to watch and from the short clips i saw in instagram, i find myself disliking the humour, it is cringe humour imo but somehow one day i happen to watch it? i dont think im impressed by the first ep but nevertheless i continue and by the 2nd or 3rd ep (?) my interest was immediately piqued bc of one incident that happen and i got goosebump bc i did not expect it at all and since then i was really into this drama and i absolutely love most of the action scenes esp when vincenzo went mad he look so hot and i got goosebump more than once. i came to love the cringy humour and find them funny and cute. the villain story is a bit weak imo but vincenzo and chayoung are so good together. i really recommed watching this

if im not mistaken they are not even together in the novel bc she realised she loved him too late and he already move on smth like that so ngl i like this ending better

i think regarding the deal is bc at that time he wasnt in situation where he has the option for the money for hospital bills bc losing the apartment means he has to work from dorm which is not convenient for someone who need to work part time.

while for the deal, his robot invention (?) has already completed and he already receive offer to sell the rights(?) or working w the company before ding xian faced the problem. so i think he came up w the solution bc while he dont want to work at the company, he will still receive pays, did not losinh partment and able to help ding xian through the negotiation

just watched up to 24th ep and i personally like it. idc much about the business plot whatsoever, it is quite interesting to me but if i dont skip it then it will took me long time to finish the drama. the love story part between the main leads is so good, they both has very good chemistry and the way they converse seems like a real couple. and i really like dilreba character here. she is stubborn but she is not weak and doesnt like to beg too and always want to do it herself first before start relying on others.

NOW MOVE TO SECOND COUPLE. i have love and hate relationship for the fl. when their relationship is good they are literally the cutest but this girl really dk how to appreciate good man and keep on breaking up w him. now they break up again i hope it wouldnt be him chasing after her again bc he honestly doesnt deserve to be treated like that, he is literally one od the sweetest guy ever.

all in all i like this drama, it was just a bit too long but i do find the business and design part interesting. unfortunately i ve short attention span so i always skip and focus on the romance part <3 def worth the watching

up till this day, they are still my top1 couple in kdramaland. their chemistry is the best out of all couple i have seen. seeing them made my heart ache and i absolutely love inguk eyes in this drama. i wish i could lose my memory about this series and get butterflies and wrecked by them again.

if you are someone that doesnt care much about the plot as long as it is not stupid and more for the romance part, i strongly recommend this.

i wish i can lose my memory about this drama and watch it like the first time again 😭😭😭 i miss them :(
