ah yes i absolutely love him playing as nerd as well. he nail that role. it is my most fav role of him after pran. i just love his micro expression when he was annoyed or being sassy with pat, it is very hilarious to watch for me and his sad puppy eyes make my heart really ache for him :)

confession: i rarely feel so hyped over a bl series as i view it like other genre and most bl kinda feel flat for me, either the chemistry is lacking, or i dont like the script or awkward acting. i wouldnt say i dont enjoy all bl i watched bc i do enjoy some but like i said most feel kinda flat or i like it but just so so?

itsay is the first that i really really liked (altho it falls more under lgbt category) and among my top series. while bad buddy is definitely different category from itsay, it is the second series i like a lot as they were able to give me feels the way other bl fail to imo and i am absolutely in love with nanon potrayal as pran. the show definitely has some weakness but i personally dont consider it a bad show bc i have seen worse and this is among the better one imho despite the simple plot.

while the two show are definitely different from each other and itsay is superior in term of the plot and cinematography, as of ep9 i personally put both as my top1 thai bl simply bc i love patpran relationship, their dynamics, the way they feel so domestic and potray how ppl in a relationship is lovable and ofc the feels they gave me plus excellent acting from both leads. i guess that is the reason why most ppl are so hyped for bad buddy despite the simple plot and the weakness here and there. and it is fine if you dont like it bc that means the show is not what you looking for or you just simply dont feel the way other feels with patpran i guess

right! but i do want to hope that it is also bc patpran has yet to know they were outed by wai. i hope he will has some sense to aplogise to them in the future. i dont think he makes the curtain fall but he definitely increase the speaker sound so everyone will heard them (a very dick move and gosh he is just terrible). but like i said imo as long as patpran accept his apology or he apologise to them then it's fine for me.
we viewer can keep hating his character or not accepting his apology but at the end of the day what matters most is what patpran felt about this.

e.g my close friend boyfriend once cheat on her and i still dont like him for that but ofc she forgive him and i think as long as she is happy then i have no say in their situation.

i do believe friend like that exist and they are what we called as bad friend 😂 but that is the thing w life imo, sometimes we have been friends and confide w each other for so long that even w their bad side we can still be friends w them? at least from my experience. and wai def hasnt been a good friend to pran now and w him outing his bestfriend that is just like very very terrible that's why him apologising to patpran is necessary and up to patpran to accept the apology or not no matter how unacceptable it is to our eyes.

i do think the parents has visit pat before but they only show it now bc pran has never bump into them i guess.

i absolutely agree with you, regardless the imperfection, the show make me feel so good and wholesome, i have never felt like this for other bl couple (main issue is their acting or it was a serious tone drama so i will adopt a serious mood when watching it)

gosh need to let this out bc this show is not perfect, there is weakness here and there

1) wai matters. i am maybe among the minority one for i have never regard him as a villain or annoyed w him (i would just normally roll my eyes a bit and beg him to chill) but just this one friend who has anger issue so it is not really cool at all that he outed his friend. i know he did it out of his anger for being 'betrayed' by pran for hiding his relationship w pat but he should feel bad for outing his friends (which he didnt btw). we can conclude that wai is a self centred person. but i do think he could be redeemed (my opinion) i just wish they will show us wai apologising to patpran or at least pran bc that is such a dick move so i hope we will get that in future ep

2) the gun scene? it was so random and i skip that part im sorry. everything related to the gun and the police is kind out of place but yk what? I can turn a blind eye to that

regardless of the plotholes, the show weakness and even if wai issue will never be addressed or developed better in later ep, i will still regard the show as my top1 thai bl along w itsay, like i know itsay is much better in term of the production and execution etc BUT patpran has the healthiest and cutest relationship i ve seen. everything between them is just so natural, from the banters, their conversation etc everything is good that i can ignore all other weakness for the sole reason of them being the best boyfriend for each other. the show is not perfect but patpran is too good that idc about the flaws of the show.

p/s: i love how this ep also break the normal stereotype. i hope all those viewers can stop addressing pran or pat as the wife but i doubt the tiktok community will take a lesson from that but it is a good try from p'aof

bc pran never plan to start any relationship with him. he has feelings for pat but he had no intention to act on it bc he knows their situation (this is why he said 'it's relationship i always want to avoid' to wai in the bar scene) . and that's exactly what he do

he knew he likes pat that's why he never rlly invade pat space (for his sanity too) unlike what pat did with him in early ep (since he dont realise he like pran). if you look at it, pat too is giving pran hard time, no? but when pat return his guitar you can see him trying to be more friendly w pat.

he let his guard down during the kiss scene, but his reactions of running away is valid bc 1) pat said he likes ink 2) he let his guard down so avoiding is better than confronting based on his personality. and i believe during that process he also had some thinking whether he should take their relationship to another level or not and consider all the consequences they will face bc that def not in pat mind bc pat is the type that follow his heart.

pran accepting the bet is him preparing himself to get into relationship w pat and it wasnt only pat that did the chasing. pran too was flirting w him (curry, library scene, finger licking). he was ready to lose too (using the play as excuse)

even in the latest ep, pran despite worrying ppl might know their relationship (esp since it was in early stage) willing to let pat upload things that obv pointing to pran bc he care more about pat. just bc pat is more vocal about his love doesnt make pran who is less vocal love less. pran too sacrifice a lot and many times went out of his comfort zone for pat. and i can say during those process pat too give hard time to pran but that's what make their relationship so good bc both party willing to compromise for each other

the story is very different lol. the fl is smart and the ml is not cold

it is not sudden tho? they are just showing wang quan sheng backstory, that he is gay , had family problems and he is not accepted hence why he try to drown himself in the water and that is how li zi wei able to come to his body.

i read a comment on twitter about a person going through same thing as pran. they like this one male friend for a long time and suddenly the guy show interest towards them but the person is skeptical and just act normal bc they cant understand the sudden interest and later on they found out the guy was only trying to test them bc he found out that person likes him.

i think pran is maybe thinking like this too esp when pat told pran himself that he likes ink then pat kissed pran?? he must be feeling confused and he is the type that always keep emotion in check, he guard his feeling but when he pull pat again during the second kiss, he was so passionate and bare all his feelings towards pat so i can understand why he not want to talk about it. the feeling of confuse, embarrased and lost, and avoiding is his defense mechanism imo

i watched it during the early hype and i think the first few ep is just okay but i start to dislike it when one of the character try to woo the other guy, it just seems off to me and some of his flirtation makes me uncomfortable but i still watch it nevertheless but the more i did the more i dislike the show 😭 and at some point i start to hate it bc it get so cringe for me. then after some time it gets really popular and till now i still dont get the hype but i guess ppl love the comedy (which i personally find cringe) but everyone has different preference

personally yes, there wasnt a lot of kiss scene but the tension between them is so good (at least for me). one word i could say is the series is beautiful and heartwrenching, from the cinematography, the acting (altho i do cringe at some crying scene but it doesnt make the series flawed, i still give it a 10/10)

bad buddy is #2 in my list rn bc it still hasnt finished, but if i like it a lot till the end it might be on top 1 along with i told sunset about you (itsay). but yes i do recommend itsay bc it is just beautiful and a masterpiece

honestly idk if you have watch i told sunset about you but if you havent, i totally recommend, the cinematography and the acting is so good and the actors execute emotional scene so well. it is currently my top 1 bl and bad buddy sitting on second place, i hope bad buddy keep on being good despite it being a gmmtv show 😭

same i was planning to watch ep5 when it was closer to the airing time of ep6 but GODDD i got spoiled (more like i spoil myself) and decide to just watch.

idk if you have watched more ep now but no, the ml is not the cold type, in fact he is the one that is always nice to her and kinda approach her first (bc she dont like him when they first met). he is only like that bc of the circumstance he was facing at that time

i still remember chugakusei nikki receive lots of hate when it start airing and till now many refuse to watch it (understandable) so i dont think it is a fair comparison. i still remember people commenting that the series receive more hate than other student teacher plot in jdrama bc the teacher is a woman while most other student teacher romance the teacher are men so there were less complain.

the series is popular bc ppl who watch it love it.

the fl and bf are definitely not made for each other. the bf constantly neglect hee feelings by saying 'i know what you like', 'i know her the best' just bc they have been in relationship for 10 years and no, she did not two timing either
