pran accepting the bet is him preparing himself to get into relationship w pat and it wasnt only pat that did the chasing. pran too was flirting w him (curry, library scene, finger licking). he was ready to lose too (using the play as excuse)

even in the latest ep, pran despite worrying ppl might know their relationship (esp since it was in early stage) willing to let pat upload things that obv pointing to pran bc he care more about pat. just bc pat is more vocal about his love doesnt make pran who is less vocal love less. pran too sacrifice a lot and many times went out of his comfort zone for pat. and i can say during those process pat too give hard time to pran but that's what make their relationship so good bc both party willing to compromise for each other

the story is very different lol. the fl is smart and the ml is not cold

it is not sudden tho? they are just showing wang quan sheng backstory, that he is gay , had family problems and he is not accepted hence why he try to drown himself in the water and that is how li zi wei able to come to his body.

i read a comment on twitter about a person going through same thing as pran. they like this one male friend for a long time and suddenly the guy show interest towards them but the person is skeptical and just act normal bc they cant understand the sudden interest and later on they found out the guy was only trying to test them bc he found out that person likes him.

i think pran is maybe thinking like this too esp when pat told pran himself that he likes ink then pat kissed pran?? he must be feeling confused and he is the type that always keep emotion in check, he guard his feeling but when he pull pat again during the second kiss, he was so passionate and bare all his feelings towards pat so i can understand why he not want to talk about it. the feeling of confuse, embarrased and lost, and avoiding is his defense mechanism imo

i watched it during the early hype and i think the first few ep is just okay but i start to dislike it when one of the character try to woo the other guy, it just seems off to me and some of his flirtation makes me uncomfortable but i still watch it nevertheless but the more i did the more i dislike the show 😭 and at some point i start to hate it bc it get so cringe for me. then after some time it gets really popular and till now i still dont get the hype but i guess ppl love the comedy (which i personally find cringe) but everyone has different preference

personally yes, there wasnt a lot of kiss scene but the tension between them is so good (at least for me). one word i could say is the series is beautiful and heartwrenching, from the cinematography, the acting (altho i do cringe at some crying scene but it doesnt make the series flawed, i still give it a 10/10)

bad buddy is #2 in my list rn bc it still hasnt finished, but if i like it a lot till the end it might be on top 1 along with i told sunset about you (itsay). but yes i do recommend itsay bc it is just beautiful and a masterpiece

honestly idk if you have watch i told sunset about you but if you havent, i totally recommend, the cinematography and the acting is so good and the actors execute emotional scene so well. it is currently my top 1 bl and bad buddy sitting on second place, i hope bad buddy keep on being good despite it being a gmmtv show 😭

i still remember chugakusei nikki receive lots of hate when it start airing and till now many refuse to watch it (understandable) so i dont think it is a fair comparison. i still remember people commenting that the series receive more hate than other student teacher plot in jdrama bc the teacher is a woman while most other student teacher romance the teacher are men so there were less complain.

the similarity is he is police instead of soldier and she is a doctor and the earthquake part but honestly the earthquake scene only last 2/3 ep out of 40 ep so the synopsis is actually misleading bc the drama is more than that so i would say only 1% is similar.

i personally like this better bc the chemistry between the two is so good compared to dots main cp and i dont feel cringe seeing them but that could just be my preference

your statement is not a fact and one thing you fail to understand that everyone has different preference and that also show how immature you are.

like i said what we view about impactful is different, sex education is a good knowledge yes but even after watching it i still prefer asian drama and the same goes to another good english show i have watched, no matter how many i ve watched, asian drama quality is the best for me and if you think hollywood show is the best then you do you. because we all have watch the show from every country so we both have right to judge it and it is a fair comparison.

back to fl acting, you only watch one of her show that is why i dont think you have right to talk about her acting. and you think xu kai carry whole drama , i think not but instead tianqi and i'm more interested to see fl journey to become powerful more than the romance altho i also love the romance. everything goes back to our preference. just like you mayb like xu kai acting into fiys, i think his acting is lacking there despite being his fan but still i like him.

fr hshshhs i quite enjoy fiys it is not totally a bad drama for me. but the acting and korean dubbing really make it hard for me to give it higher rate. and despite me being a fan of xukai, i also think his acting quite lacking in fiys.

and im not even a big fan of zdy, i just think that she is one of the best c actress i have watched and i too like her more after watching this drama bc of her smile

your opinion is not a fact. you can think it is better and prefer it more but that doesnt make your statement true and the same goes to my opinion about asian drama. because at the end of the day everything goes down to one preference.

sex education? yes altho not all season but have you ever thought that one has different views in which they consider impactful? my top drama will always smth that make my heart ache, deep drama, family problem, work problem like misaeng, anything that involve psychology, dealing with mental issues and just some character ​i find very pitiful. those are what i consider impactful, anything that made my heart breaks. and i ve mention that im not a big fan of xianxia, xianxia is fantasy and got is also fantasy so i dont really have any interest to watch it. and while sex education has some of those elements it just doesnt impact me that much?

and no i dont like a show just bc they have lots of sex scenes, most of the buildup moment they show, it doesnt touch my heart, that is why i dont like most hollywood show bc while i consider some as good, it doesnt stay close to me. it is very clear we have different things on what we consider impactful.

actually im a fan of xu kai. i watch both fiys and ancient love poetry bc of him. im not a big fan of xianxia so even if i like zdy i wouldnt necessarily watch for her but bc xu kai is in it, so i decide to watch. i have like him since arsenal military academy so i was really excited for both drama. while yes i do like this actress work , i wouldnt necessarily say im a really big fan, but i do like her as a person and her acting skills. for example i consider myself a big fan of dilreba and xu kai but from my experience w their works, despite me being a fan of them both i still think their acting cannot be compared to zhou dongyu.

and her not being popular in this platform bc she rarely act in drama and dont star in mainstream or idol drama which most people watch. she mainly act in film anf most of the film she is in receive lot of praise and with good realistic script. she is not popular internationally but definitely a big name in china, more bigger than c actor that are popular in this platform.

i never mention about budget, it is mainly about censorship and one thing you miss is most china drama are gatekeep from outside world. they have very big population and the dramas does not target international market at all. india has big population yes but your country doesnt have this big censorship like china did.

if you havent seen impactful script from cdrama, you just dont see enough and only watch mainstream and idol drama. that is normal bc good script cdrama dont receive the same popularity internationally despite having good rating in china. just like fiys, it is really popular internationally but has low rating in china.

when i mention about taiwan drama x kdrama x jdrama sitting on the same table i wasnt referring to their popularity internationally but rather the quality of the drama. if we go with imdb rating , hollywood show has the most popularity but i dont like most hollywood tv show. and just like most english songs are more popular than non english songs, does that imply english songs are better? nah it is just bc it is in english.

about kdrama vs cdrama, i definitely agree about most kdrama being much better but i believe the censorship and lack of freedom in china is one the reason why the film maker and screenwriter cant be more daring but despite that there are some c movie and cdrama that tackles issue better than kmovie or kdrama and there is definitely some cdrama that i preferred more over kdrama but if we talking about majority of the quality, yes kdrama is superior. heck not even kdrama but even taiwan drama is better than cdrama. and imo taiwan drama x kdrama x jdrama sit at the same level

i never said my criteria for a good actor is based on award. i merely mention it to show that she has won a lot of awards for her acting in many prestigious award show for different type of roles she has act. and i wasnt talking about ancient love poetry, she has won in asian film award , hong kong award, golden rooster award etc for different years. i simply want to tell you that even if you dont feel her charm in this one, she is still very much a great actress that has received critical approved by a lot of people so you should at least have see her from her other works before coming for her acting.

i know dots won lot of awards but it is still just an okay drama for me. while i definitely dont like shk acting in dots but i know she is a great actress bc i have seen her other works and like her acting. my point is, it is fine if you dont like the drama or fl acting in one/certain particular work but i believe one opinion should at least be form after having watching the said actor in some other works too. i recommend watching her other work, better days
