same, this is my 5th time, I just can’t find a more well rounded cdrama than this one yet, and the music for the bloody banquet always reminds me of the old Sergio Leon westerns
Near the end I couldn’t help wondering if this is how Gwi-ma in K-pop Demon Hunters was created. Realy great though if you like horror fantasy dramas. The acting and the cinematography were top notch especially the queen dowager. I still can’t believe that’s Jang Young Nam. The makeup and wardrobe team did a great job.
I have watched this series 3 times so far and now will be my 4th. I loved The Long Ballad but LLTG is a masterpiece.…
3rd time watching for me, seems like everytime I catch a snippet of ep 34 I have to go back, I just came across the original novel which I plan to read
the cyber detective, Son Ji An, is played by a newcomer Park Wan-Hyeong who does not have a profile on MDL. If anyone knows how to get her added she should be in the cast list.
only reason I watched this was because of a short on yt that I saw, and I was pleasantly surprised, great acting, great unique story, and superb production for a short drama
MDL has the pecking order wrong, Yoona is the lead followed by Park Jae Jung and Gong Hyun Joo, Lee Ji Hoon is…
Pretty good take on it. It’s been a long time since I watched it but it was one of the first k dramas I watched back when it originally aired. Yoona really was a big surprise that year in this role. Most new idol actors don’t get a part in a daily drama, much less the starring role in one. All I can say about the imbalance issue you mentioned is that this is sort of typical in a lot of the “daily” type dramas. It’s basically koreas version of a soap opera or telenovela. Two other dailies I watched back then, if you haven’t seen them and you can find them are Pure 19 which stars Goo Hye Sun a couple of years before her BOF fame, and Daring Women with the always phenomenal Lee Yu Ri. Daring Women still has one of the most vile mother/daughter duos I’ve seen in a drama.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought it was absolutely ridiculous to see Jiwon walking around in 6-inch…
From what I've seen PMY is actually pretty used to wearing those heels. I've seen her on other dramas and variety shows running around in tall heels like it's nothing. It probably has more to do with her style, which I'm sure she was consulted on, rather than a one sided decision by the crew.
I only started watching Crash because of a clip I saw and I haven't been disappointed. Just what I call a great buddy cop drama. Just so many elements outside what we normally get that make it worth watching.
