Nothing to do but wish her well. It's sad because she is such a great actress and will be missed. But she just had her first child and she knows how the business is since she has been in it for 14yrs. If she doesn't want to bring her child into that environment and doesn't want to have rely on child care then she's probably making the right choice. Whose to say that years down the road she won't return.
I was so proud of this for picking up after ep 8 and it remained good just up until this week's episodes...…
I agree with you. I've always felt the Joe/Ariel version was the pinnacle for all others to achieve, and Love In Tokyo was close. This version, I actually enjoyed the shortened format even though i thought some of the acting was lacking in areas. But when it hit ep 36 and they started going from point A to point C without B, it was a chore just finish it.
I'm really not sure if I would watch a second season now if they made one.
Just finished watching the last episode... OMG i feel empty right now, I hope that there will be a second season.…
i really don't want them to do a second season of this one. The last 4 eps were terrible. I was actually somewhat enjoying this version until about ep 36. At least the full Japanese remake was better than the incomplete '98 version.
is it me or does episode 36 seem really screwed up, talk about major holes in plot development caused by adding…
for one there was no need for the scene where he takes her to do telescopes with the kids showing he's warming up to her, only to go to the extreme right after that with the marriage talk and that he would never marry her, all of this before actually meeting the grand daughter, the last 4 or 5 eps were extremely rushed
is it me or does episode 36 seem really screwed up, talk about major holes in plot development caused by adding things that were not in the original story
Every time i watch the TaeYang/HyoWon couple in this drama, so much of their interaction reminds me of Yoong/YunJeong couple in Pure 19 by the same writer.
I have to say that it's been a long time since I watched the first episode of a drama, and then re-watched the first episode of a drama. Hopefully it will keep this level throughout.
So far I have enjoyed this remake. My only issue is I don't think the mains are quite as good as Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng. Not sure if its because of the shortened format or what. I just don't feel as much emotion from this version. At times I think Ester Wu plays the part a bit too childish.
The only 2 10/10 i gave to 2016 dramas were Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, and Goblin. Ironically the lead actresses in both of those dramas were in Cheese in the Trap which I have not seen yet.
i have to say, i hope the camera crew for this drama got extra pay cause even in some of the worst conditions this drama has some of the best cinematography i've seen for a tv show, it's movie quality
the movie is good for an adaptation, but the anime is better and funnier, esp season 2, the movie just didn't have time to go into the constant battle of wits between Yozora and Sena which is one of the driving forces of the story
I'm really not sure if I would watch a second season now if they made one.
