Great drama. Every week it made me smile from start to finish. Simple, not bogged down with heavy plot lines. I would give it a 10 but I just can't forgive the "fireworks".

I was thinking the same thing. Or better yet have season 2 be about the twin daughters.

I know that Yoo Joo is a bit of a b**** but at least she's smart and responsible. Guess someone has to be in that relationship.

Same screenwriter as Ojakgyo Brothers and Ryu Soo Young who was the 2nd brother in Ojakgyo is playing the reverse of his roll in this one. So many similarities there.

This is an A list cast for a drama. Anyone who has watched a bunch of dramas should recognize most of the main cast and supporting cast being in a lot of family and daily dramas.

i have to say there are parts of the first episode, especially the end that remind me of Ricochet

she would be perfect as a goth loli character with super powers like Rory Mercury in a live action version of Gate

Isn't it sort of dumb to ask someone if they spit in your drink and then ask them to take the first sip. I mean if they spit in it, it doesn't really matter if they drink their own spit.

I wish that I had not waited over 2yrs to watch it. This was really really good. And I thought PSH was great. To be able to hiccup every time you lie and make it look that real is pretty amazing.

I don't understand dissing a drama that has even started production yet just because you don't like SSK or you think she's not a good actress. I've seen several of her dramas and have not really felt she was a bad actress, just cast in some bad dramas, like Fashion King. You also have to consider the director's of those dramas and what they wanted.

In Korea you are eligible for newcomer awards between the ages of 21 and 25 no matter how much child acting you do. Japan probably has a similar rule.

instead of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon they should have called this One Punch Woman

yeah, but somehow i get the feeling that getting kidnapped by that gangster boss is gonna lead to her mom getting her powers back, thats what i get from the fortune teller incident

I originally watched some of his early drama's but never really considered him one of my "go to" actors until after IRIS 2. After that I pretty much have to at least check out anything he's in.

Woot, this drama gives us the all important "food poisoning kiss".

I've enjoyed it so far and i just started watching it a couple of days ago. I originally had no interest in it and started it while waiting for more eps of SWDBS. To me it's one of those dramas that doesn't look good on paper but is surprisingly better once you start.

But wasn't that her brother he was walking with when he made the comment for her to hear. Only other thing I can think of is we know she tried hiding her power but we don't really know what kind of reputation she had in school other than not studying. And if you look at his girlfriend, and the description of the one in high school, she doesn't really match up. Although personally she's right in my strike zone. :D

Even if he liked her he wouldn't ask her out without permission from her brother. Otherwise he's breaking bro code 101: you don't date your best friends sister. I also thought his comment was directed toward her, but in a more negative way. Which I think is how she took it.

It is true that this version did follow the path of the manga, except for few changes given the differences in culture and time when the manga was originally written to now. It still doesn't give them a pass on obvious congruity issues towards the end. I read the manga several years ago when you could still find the whole thing online. Most of the versions follow the story completely. The '98 Japanese version came out when the author was still writing. It Started With A Kiss and Love In Tokyo both follow the original work very closely with a few differences and exceptions. The animated version is the only one that actually gives a complete ending based on notes and info from the authors husband and son's knowledge of how she wanted it to end.

i know it says it's based on a Chinese novel, but i swear there's a Japanese manga with this same theme
