Lol Despite this much of hate reviews flying around here, I actually enjoyed it very much. At least it is waaaaayyy better than Alice in Borderland. I have never been a fan of deathgames sort of stories, but this one got me hooked despite the ridiculous start where the world turned into the novel ML had been reading since the last 10years.
Maybe me not having a prior experience with the original novel or webtoon contributed to this cuz all the hate reviews I read had been from the novel’s readers. Good thing for that cuz that made me enjoy the show and not see much flop. The powerups, CGIs and action choreograph are the bomb and i even get to see Prince Gowon of Alchemy of Souls again here, have always had a soft spot for him. I enjoyed the movie and would be delighted if they come up with sequels, but looking at the hate it received I guess there wont be any continuation of this. Too bad for that really. The gang of five - Dokja, Hyeonsong, Sang Ah, Huiwon and little Gilyeong had been explosive, and i would really like to see them work with the supposedly hero of the novel Junghyeok. But i wont have my hopes up 🙁
