The 1st 3 episodes were real bad and I almost dropped it. But it got better by ep 4. Not the best drama but the MLs are eye candies so I wanna see how they end up together.
Love the confrontation in ep 13. Love a sarcastic PJW. Love the car scene. Love everything. Even love the PPL. Most direct and effective. Haha. The script for this drama is brilliant. Love how they pre-empted all the questions of the whiners and then answer them episode by episode. Mockumentary or Mockudrama. LOL.
Just finished ep 12 and I have to say this drama has a way to make me super curious about the developments and wanna watch on. I love the interviews and the answers. It's not easy to break up. Sometimes you fight but you end up actually breaking up when you don't want to because you can't express what's on your heart. Is it so easy to spell everything out to the other partner. No. And maybe that's because you haven't been honest or you two are just not meant to be.
I like how PJW "accused" her. He doesn't hide. As for LEO, while I'm sympathetic towards her backstory, I don't approve of how she's treating him. But then again, I want them to be together.
I like how they piece each episode together. Gives me all the feels--frustration, longing, sadness, annoyance, curiosity, laughter... Brilliant.
But I didn't like the drunk Oh Sun Young today. Hmm...too OTT. But I look forward to her reunion with Kang Geon.
Dropped this after first two episodes. Then i watched few more episodes thinking I will like this. But this drama…
Why is it not realistic? You haven't been in love? Is there a formula for love? Or are we talking about formulaic drama romance. If the latter, then yes, this drama is not "realistic". In real life, people do fall in love at first sight and pine indefinitely for lost love with no proper closure.
i was expecting EO's 2nd reason to be something big but her reason was that jaewon is gyung joo's cousin and she…
It's a big reason. Cos she was so different in her beach persona and it was meant to stay there and end there. She cannot afford to let people she knows since childhood about her two months fling. You can say she's a coward but that's how it is. In reality, she's afraid of losing what she's got. She's afraid of being judged.
man the rating keeping down I'm starting to think you guys aren't really fans of Ji Chang Wook you guys don't…
I think it's a mix of haters + people who really don't like the format. For example, I was shocked that Evil of Flower's rating was trashed so badly. The drama is not bad IMO. So ratings don't reflect the true value of the drama. For people who like this drama and want more people watching, best is to bring it up to 10 so as to counter.
Omg episode 5 for the main leads- so heartbreaking. I can fully empathize as I've done something similar, dropping…
Exactly. In fact, all the topics they explored so far are so relatable! With one ex that I liked a lot, I wanted to patch back by asking for things to be returned. With another one I couldn't wait to get rid off, I threw everything out immediately. LOL. Brought back so much memories.
I wonder if those who don't like this drama may not have experience love or breakups. Or they have really really normal relationships. IDK. Cos if you have, you can totally get what they're trying to bring across in this drama.
Can you pinpoint the "mess"? It's a fresh format. I think for what it is, it's truly remarkable. It's supposed…
Personally I like to see the range of an actor/actress I like in different genres. JCW was really good in BR. The drama isn't great but it isn't bad either. But both KYJ and JCW made it great to watch. The only drama that missed the mark was MMS.
JCW has said there are many types of roles he wanna try. He cannot be doing action types till he' old. It's very taxing. So he wanna try and if we're really his fans, then respect his choices.
Just watched ep 5 and can I say the topic they explored is just gold. If you’ve broken up, you’ll relate. I really enjoy this format of story telling. People fall in love and deal with issues of love. But you get different POVs and reactions. So interesting.
Can I also say the Kim Min Seok couple is superb cute?
My personal opinion so far........... SIGHHHH. I knew that this female lead was not going to pull me into believing…
I love KJW since her role as Rachel but I haven't watched every of her role to know if she's a great actress. I think she's decent, above average, going by what I've seen. But when I first watched her in LITC, I felt disconnected too. It was so strange. I felt she overacted. Then when I realized she was pretending to be someone she is not, then it all made sense. To me, that is good acting.
I think she is a good match for JCW. I love Backstreet Rookie too. I enjoyed it tremendously because of JCW's acting and KYJ's badass.
Loving this drama. I felt a tad bored with ep 1 cos of the format. There were too many interviewing but by ep 2, i was hooked. The topics they tackle are so real and raw and it’s funny too. I am now loving the interview format cos of he cheeky interactions. This one is a jem. The story gets me. Falling in love at a beach resort can happen but the love may not sustain once you’re back in reality. And being wild and taking on a fake persona, totally authentic. I have personally seen girls like that although they do it more to catch attention.
I have a good feeling they’ll be back together. The only gripe I have is that the girls in this drama are all kinda badass in some way or really bold. No one is shy? For real? Haha. And the guys are real gentlemen. No asshats?
But the whole show has given me nostalgic vibes and brought me back to my memory lane when I was pursuing love and exploring relationships. Falling in love at first sight? Happens! Acting differently and trying to be bold and daring? Totally get it. Breaking up cos of reality? Unfortunate but can happen too.
Loving the entire production and how they focus on little details despite being 30 mins long. The acting is good. Very nuanced and natural. Good actors know how to read scripts and not overact.
wow so many people hate this drama. honestly... I dont vibe with it too much either. First of all maybe of it…
But it does happen in reality even if you don’t understand the FL. Pretending to be someone you wanna be. That is also why she comes across as unnatural. Not necessary suffering a disorder but yeah, maybe she wasn’t healthy mentally. But her pretending is her current way of coping right now.
It's alright to discuss characters in shows and even disagree with their portrayals. That's what good dramas and movies do. They make you think. They stir your heart. But what I see are repeated comments by the same commenters with a clear objective to bring down the drama just cos they are anti-fans. They are tearing down the FL as though they're her stepsisters. They're rating it badly so that lesser people will watch the drama. It's incredulous how malicious and evil some of these commenters are. And they dare comment about morality? Is your conscience even clear? What's the real reason you're afraid of more people watching this drama? A drama doesn't have to be perfect for people to enjoy. Also, this drama is teaching so many good things: integrity, honesty, say no to shoplifting, say no to sexual harassment, say no to bullying.
I’m really disheartened when I see some people online like in twitter glorifying that kissing scene. They squeal…
It seems like you are stirring hate for this drama because you are repeating the same things throughout this thread. A KYJ hater perhaps? Very telling.
You are obviously distorting some of the scenes to make it sound like the drama is low on morals and very questionable. If you have truly watched the drama, you won't make the mistake of missing out the fact that DH bought the girls candies and told them to quit smoking. That is a morally right message and you don't want to acknowledge but distort it so that hopefully you can get more people who haven't watched this drama to not watch it. And making a mountain out of a molehill about the kiss? Do you think people who watch dramas are stupid and can't tell right from wrong?
Maybe her kiss was problematic but to me, it's stupid maybe, but it wasn't anything immoral. Don't put yourself on such high grounds as if you've never made a mistake in your life.
Can I judge your username then? Pranks A Lot? Ha. Who are you kidding?
