I'm only on the first episode so this may be answered or not but how is ji chang wooks character able to just…
Don't think he went around messing with them till now that they messed with his girls. I think he's barely surviving. If not for Kang Dong U and Prosecutor Min , he'd have been killed.
Didn't he say after K2 he is done with action dramas? I'm glad he changed his mind. In my humble opinion, he isn't…
If you have seen every one of his dramas, you'll know he is one of the rare actors who can excel in any genre. Just that some people, like you, prefer him in action roles.
Ive been wondering wether to start this or not. Is it very brutal? I dont mind violence on screen as long as its…
Hmm...perhaps you can go look up the meaning of graphic in movies and you understand better. Not trying to be funny but it just seems we're not on the same page in terms of movie verbiage. The commenter said she didn't mind violence as long as it is not graphic and I was telling her this show, like most K-movies, is violent and graphic.

The cutting of the face for example was graphic...it was explicit with detailed depiction. You can even hear it. Maybe you call it brutal but such violence is graphic and definitely 18+.

How is it not graphic when there is violence? Graphic in movies/dramas typically refers to content that is visually explicit or intense, hence the 18+ rating. Graphic does not only means sexual content if that's what you're referring to. There's graphic violence and graphic language as well.
Wow, ep 3 & 4 were great. I was gritting my teeth and punching in the air at the end of ep 4 when Gil Ho struck back. That was too intense! This drama is killing it so far. I have to say that JCW is great in action roles. His fight scenes are always memorable.
"Immediately after its release, 'Gangnam B-side' ranked No. 1 in all regions of the world, from Asia to Europe, including Korea, Greece, Malta, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. Interest in Ji Chang-wook's new character has also exploded, with the success of entering the global top 7 through word of mouth over the weekend."
Ji Chang Wook had an awful year honestly. You'd think him taking supporting roles would mean the shows are really…
So what? Mid or not, he's hot in demand and he's the one laughing to the bank, and we're here to show our support because we're so happy for him. He has had a great year so far considering the number of great offers he had to decline. Btw, Revolver didn't tank. It's just not a movie for mass appeal but it won Best film award at 33rd Buil Film Award and other awards.
I wonder if some of the ratings could be due to just watching ep 1 and not continuing. Cos honestly, ep 1 did not get me at all and I was pondering if I should continue. To top it off, I don't like this genre that much. But cos of JCW, I watched ep 2 and it piqued my interest. Now waiting for ep 3 & 4.
Both are good shows with great casts but I tend to watch Love Game first cos it's an easier for my heart. Pearl Girl is more intense and I'm not one for hardship. Haha. I would rather watch Pearl Girl when all episodes are out but obviously I also cannot wait.
Why did they not iron 2nd ML's clothes properly? This drama is so interesting to watch but the dangling flap/collar on his clothes has been a huge distraction and eyesore for me.
